    I admire your concern about the safety. The very first time I dry fired my 365 I was amazed at how easy the trigger pulled. I have 3 365s and I have a safety on all three. All modern striker fired guns have built in safeties. The problem is they are all defeated by the pull of the trigger. I want one that is not directly connected to the trigger. Good luck and safe shooting.

    For Anyone wondering, if you wear a size 9.5 in vans or a new balance running shoe, get a 9.5 bull run. Stay true to size. I’m a 9.5 and I got a size 9. They fit but they’re a tad too tight. I’d would’ve rather gotten a 9.5 and wore a thicker sock. Now I’m stuck with only being able to wear a thin sock.

    A Dollar Store whetstone can be just as good as a $50 whetstone if you learn how to get the most out of them. The most important thing that you must do is develop is a technique that works well for the particular stone that you are using. Not all Dollar Store whetstones are the same, but which ever one you get, learn what is best for that whetstone. Some don't even have a side with a different grit, so you will have to consider this. I'd say practice on inexpensive knives first and when you feel your skills are where they need to be, sharpen your more expensive knives.

    Don't know if anyone has said this but you must sharpen until you see a burr on the opposite side. This concept took a long time to sink in for me but I finally have learned that's what apexing means. Then honing is removing the Burr. Once you master this, you've mastered sharpening knives. Dollar tree stone may be a honing stone more then a apexing stone, so if you weren't getting a burr then definitely not

    • @quickgearvids
      @quickgearvids ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching. I don’t think anyone has brought this up, so thanks. I haven’t tried used this stone in awhile, but definitely keep this in mind when I break it back. Been using the Lansky Turn Box, it’s simple and does a pretty good job. I’m not terrible on my knives so they usually just need touching up. Thank again!

    • @drewrinker2071
      @drewrinker2071 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@quickgearvids I hear you man. I actually bought a work sharp and couldn't even get knives razor sharp on that until I understood the Burr concept. I have to sharpen about 2 dozen knives at work every night for a food processing facility and one way that I found gets me through them really quick is that I use a 18" x 1/2" band file sander to quickly Apex the knives that need apexed and then I use a honing rod to quickly remove the Burr. It doesn't get them hair splitting sharp but it gets them sharp enough to cut paper with ease but it took me a long time to get to that point. I didn't really know what ppl were talking about on TH-cam when they said you got to get a burr. I could easily get the Burr but what I didn't understand was that I had to hone it to remove the Burr and actually make it sharp. I've played with sharpening stones but don't have the patience for that either. If you got just one way that works best for you, then stick with that one way and that's all that matters. I really enjoyed your video though because I was curious what could be done with a dollar knife. I also found this one where this Chinese guy sharpens a dollar knife on stones for hours and makes it ridiculously sharp enough to cut a tissue with just blowing in it th-cam.com/video/0P6klz6BTek/w-d-xo.html

    • @quickgearvids
      @quickgearvids ปีที่แล้ว

      @@drewrinker2071 Wow, thanks for sharing the video that’s super impressive. I wonder if it was able to keep the edge very long, but either way that’s awesome! I’m still very much a novice at sharping. Just need the time to practice more, lol. I probably need to buy a strop as well. Most of my hard use task I try to stick with one of the Gerber prybrid tools so the blades are replaceable and helps keep the edge on my hood knives.

How it came new with red shocks and Rubicon wheels idk because that doesn’t seem to be an option when ordering. That's too many cards stuffed in. The problem arises when you try to take out a card in the grocery line. Its a nightmare. No more than 4 in the metal compartment and no more than 2 each in the leather slots. Put less if you have embossed cards. Anything else use the silicone band. Note that with all wallets of this type you will have to shuffle through cards to get to one. It takes awhile getting used to. I love mine for the style. But to be honest a regular wallet has more utility.

      Thanks for watching. I’m running 3.45 gears and get 21 mpg combined, and 23 ish on the highway, it’s the 4 cylinder turbo. I’m really enjoying the set up. Thanks again!
