DIY Kayak Trolling Motor / Minn Kota Endura

I modified my Kayak with a Minn Kota Endura 40lb thrust trolling motor. It works great! It will do 6mph and leave a wake on the 5th forward speed. The boat is a Wilderness Systems Ride 115x. The fish finder is a Garmin Striker 4. What depth do you normally troll at for Shaver Lake Kokanee? I’ve tried trolling multiple times but I always catch rainbows n smallmouth

woah why are the top 2 spotted?
Those two fish are Brown Trout. They have a spotted pattern down each side. They sometimes become more of a yellow / brown color with spots as they get older, these two fish are more of a silver color with spots because they are fairly young Brown Trout.

@@alexinthichak3448 Yes I was trolling a hoochie lure or a wedding ring lure behind a chrome dodger, hooks tipped with corn. I will be up at Huntington this weekend fishing and camping. Good luck up there!

What are you using
Anchovies. Just plain fresh Anchovies. If you want to do a little extra work, I brine them in salt water so they stay more firm on the hook. I add a bit of garlic for scent. I cut off the head and tail and put it on a 1/0 hook. If the cut bait is not staying on the hooks well I might use some Magic Thread to wrap it. I usually just tie up a Carolina rig with a 2oz “no roll” weight. I fish two rods most of the time.

@@HectorMartinez-xo3qf Hi, this is in Los Banos, CA. Any place the aqueduct crosses a road is a good spot. This is about 5 bridges down the aqueduct from O’Neill Forebay.
I have two 100ah Power Queens in my small solar system here in Jamaica and they work great. I highly recommend them.
I caught this as a kid and I couldn’t get over how cool it was that the meat being blue I swear to this day it was the best fish I ever ate !

I fished Eastman Lake on my kayak before heading over to Hensley Lake for the second half of the day. The bite at both lakes was slow after the recent storms. I caught a few largemouth bass and marked some schools of crappie on my sonar near the dam.
