Thanks for all this super information Anna. Would you consider laparoscopy for endometriosis to be major pelvic surgery? My second surgery included Botox into the pelvic floor muscles and after this surgery is when my prolapse issues began. Would love you input on cases like mine
I use The Wand instead of my thumb. With The Wand I can reach far into the vagina to find trigger points.
Would you consider caesarean as major pelvic surgery in this instance. Would it still be safe to do self massage?
Would you consider caesarean as major pelvic surgery in this instance. Would self massage still be ok?
Yes the massage is fine after a C section. The “major pelvic surgery” I’m talking about is prolapse repair surgery/hysterectomy
This was really intense surprisingly, I'll keep at it and see how it helps
My bung feels like its been kicked by a donkey
Thank you for making this ❤
Wow I’m so happy to find this video I’m in pain just in one side of my pelvic floor. I can’t afford pelvic therapy in the Uk 🇬🇧. I’ll try from to night I hope this will change my life . Thanks Anna
Can this be done with a pelvic wand ?
Thank you Anna. The level of wealth of your information is nothing short of kindness to humanity!!!
This si how I cure My recurrent cystitis. When I do this. It pass
Hello dear , I love watch your videos. I love study about fascia ❤. Do you have any article about pelvic floor and jump training ? I would like read about the subject 😊. Thanks 🙏
Please could you share a link to the letting go of PF exercise
Thank you for sharing the techniques in detail. This video will really help
Anna, thank you so much for this. Aware you are no longer actually working in this area but appreciate you sharing your knowledge ❤
Your 2 hour podcast with the Biotensegrity tea party group where you was the guest speaker was very informative.
Thank you for this video, I am slowly watching all your videos, watched a fair few this week. You are teaching me so much and more importantly it all makes total sense. When you speak and I listen, it all feels like common sense - like why doesn't everyone know this. But then during my day I find myself clenching and holding myself strong. I had been doing strengthening, now I'm focussing on lengthening and stretching after listening and learning from you. I'm not sure how much I need to re-train my mind, do I still need to manage pressure on my pelvic area - lifting, pulling, pushing etc? I've trained my pelvic area, core, hips, inner thighs to be stronger to protect my prolapse. I have realised, you have taught me this week that my rectocele is where I tore during childbirth 10 years ago. I had a knee injury a year ago that affected my mobility for 10 months (I was limping) and I am now in perimenopause. I'm glad you explained the grisly knots/guitar strings - so so helpful! I have a starting point. Feeling very fortunate and grateful for finding your channel and your videos. Thank you Anna
So much great information. Thank you.
Great to have a new video to recommend other women to. Always excellent teaching information. Thank you Anna.

Very helpful Anna. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this video Anna!!!
She's super 👌 There's a hope for betterment now
Thank you so much for this video. Sarah Forster (The Indie Midwife) shared this with me and I'm now seeing a hands on practitioner who is doing this kind of work with me. I'm interested in what proportion of water to cornflour you used? I fancy making the prop to give myself a feel for how much pressure to use when I start trying to release fascia myself.
Love this. Mentioned you to my pelvic organ prolapse ladies
Anna, thank you very much for this video and your explanation! It was recommended by Denise from Flower Empowered. Could you please share more about release of the facia? How can we do it through exercise. My pt believes in facia release, she applies a very gentle pressure to various points and I do feel better for several hours after that. But I feel like once a week is not enough. If there is any way to do it through yoga or pilates, I would gladly pay just to be able to exercise. Thanks!
Hello My colleague Claire Sparrow has designed a movement course for releasing the pelvis. It is called Pre-Pilates for whole body pelvic health, here is the link to her website : claire-sparrow-pilates.teachable.com/
This is great Anna, I am also a physiotherapist who uses these principles in my treatment practice. I will be sharing this with fellow teachers and patients. Thank you
Amazing description and use of props. You can really get a sense of what is happening structurally. Thank you so much for making this video. Keep them coming xx
Really makes sense, after doing kegels after kegels for 2 years, I still developed prolapse symptoms 8weeks ago. I also have urgency problems! I have been trying to strengthen and strengthen thinking that was the problem, even my physio gave me kegels to do, but no mention of relaxing or releasing the muscles! I will try this, there are so many videos on pelvic floor release but I have never tried them!
It's important to release tensed muscles pelvic muscles Inhale downward exhale upward
this was great info ! you were recommended by denise from flower empowered. Can't wait to see more videos.
Really clear explanation, really loving the props =)
