Speaking of things named after Nightwish, did you know there's a list of scientific discoveries named after the band, their members and their songs? I guess you could say they have a huge nerd following that include scientists. The band on the other hand, also has songs with science influences. Especially biology and astronomy. As a watcher… I always look for someone who has a consistent post (especially for REN, Chinchilla, and Pentatonix), expertise (Joe E Sparks for videography perspectives & Black P for musician’s perspective, Knox for rapping cadence breakdown, etc) Someone who posts at least once a week keeps me engaged. PLAYLISTS! I’m binging content with new releases!! I do appreciate when some reactors wait about a week to stand out from the wave of new release reactors as well. I love when friends share with friends (but not over explaining prior to them listening). I've been fortunate to meet Floor in real life multiple times. She will humble you. I've been hardened through life, but her talent and skills are out of this world. For someone who has watched as much of Ren's work as you have, I am disappointed to hear you have no idea of what the word "retake" means??? Anyway, we all learn from our mistakes, so I expect you will realise next time, that is Ren's interpretation of another artist's song. Then you could even listen to that song first to be able to see what magic Ren is able to perform on that track to transform it into a completely original version?

Hey guys, greetings from UK This was another great reaction There is a Guitar Heroes Nightwish version 😁 Might I recommend that if you show a video to your Moms, try the song "Everdream" from this same concert. It is a love song asking someone "Do you ever dream of me?" and has powerful vocals from both Floor and the bassist (Marko) as well as a nice little guitar solo, and of course, amazing drums

It might help you to know Tuomas (the composer and keyboard player) uses several pseudonyms to refer to himself in various Nightwish songs which he writes from experiences, observation or imagination, he says he is a man with a boy's heart (child-man), a grown-up Peter Pan, and you will see that directly in places even, when he uses boy narrators sometimes in place of himself. Digging into his lyrics is almost a second bite of the cherry. He will also use poet, dreamer, writer/song writer or ocean soul - Tuomas has an affinity for the ocean, he wanted to become a marine biologist; keep all this in mind for later, it will help. So here, "A writer by a fire. . . . . ." Tuomas is speaking to you directly, he is the story-teller, the “writer by the fire” - "Took a journey into a child-man’s heart" would be Tuomas remembering the childhood stories, the Peter Pan escapades of his imagination and fascinations, but the boy has grown up from being a Peter-Pan, the crib is empty. I am: the voice of Never-Never land, the empty crib, the journey, the destination, the home, Tuomas says, he's taking you back to his childhood fascinations. Floor sings the bridge "Neverland, innocence, dreams of every man. . . . . ." in a high operatic head voice, a pitch you might expect from a very, very excited small boy. Now, go look at all the lyrics and the references to the childhood classic stories and it all drops into place; it's one of the songs where it is easy to dig inside Tuomas' metaphoric lyrics and unravel them.

The bass player sings too, and he's great. My favorite song of all time is Ghost River from this same performances, he and Floor sing together. If you want to hear him singing on his own, look up their cover of Pink Floyd's High Hopes.

This video never fails to put me in a great mood. It’s the song but also all of them look so happy up there, the crowd is vibing. The happy energy coming through the screen is so infectious.
