Music video by Black Oak Arkansas performing Jim Dandy.
Ruby Starr, Best Thighs in RnR....
Dave Roth from Arkansas! Its the same now,as we see the good old days!
Hill-billy Glam Rock it was a complicated Time.
The red head is cute….. but that other blonde chick singing is beautiful….
she looks nasty and sounds nasty.
1st concert I ever saw was in Winterland-Malo,Deep Purple,Black Oak Arkansas and Bull Angus! All for $7 back in 1972. Man….those were the days 😎
Jews
THE MOVIE DAZED & CONFUSED BROUGHT ME HERE
WHO IS LISTENING TO THIS IN 2024
Me at 82 and loving it..
IT's pure trash. Both of them look nasty.
She was definitely a Jim Dandy
Nice moose knuckle.
All hair no Talent
That's one of that crappiest hair bands I've ever heard or seen
Brings back lot of memories and memories of road trips, lots of road trips back then, '74ish
It's David Lee Roth!
Now I know why people around David Lee Roth are not allowed to say "Jim Dandy" around him. He ripped off his act.
I just got one thing to say. Whoever would have thunk some rednwcks from Arkansas would have had such an influence on hair metal way before the LA scene?
Ruby Star was a force of nature
saw them live in '73- Montrose was on first.
What did youtube do this recording? Holy shit its worse than an AM radio
Ruby Starr was so cool
Look @ all those Boomers. We had it all.
High level Garage
Lord have mercy those are some tight pants
💥Once the cameraman had clearance to shoot from the rear he knew he struck gold and wasn’t leaving. She died at 45 of a brain tumor and lung cancer. Rest In Peace sweet, lovely Ruby Starr 🙏🏼💝
I will guarantee Van Halen was in the crowd that day!
The original David Lee Roth
You are like 5000 comments too late.
@@Millwall77 Better late then never. I'm old. Lol
I remembering seeing them in Indianapolis, In in the 70’s at Market Square Arena. Rocking show.
Horrible
Horrible
I've read insults on David Lee Roth saying he just copied Jim Dandy . There's a documentary on Van Halen's beginning/club days where Jim Dandy praised David Lee Roth . In the documentary , Jim said he copied other people too BUT Dave did his own style for the band .
So bad, it's good, love it!!!
love the song but I'm here for seeing that amazing Ruby damn she was fine
Saw them twice, they were great, I've even been to Black Oak, Arkansas
Probably don't matter I seen these guys at the Terrace Ballroom Salt Lake City Utah
This jam is a drum solo start to finish, but Tommy really blows off some fire power rocket sauce in his outro drumming, just astounding stuff !!!
Saw Jim prance across the stage in 1972 when Black Oak played Fayetteville, N.C. in front of 10,000 fans. Saw him at Gussie's in Empire/Coos Bay, Oregon in front of 25 fans. Same great soul, same gravelly voice, kissed my wife's hand for saying he was wonderful.
Love ❤
Wow!! That Ruby Starr is right there with Janis Joplin love her!
Hit this blunt it aint that loud. The blunt-1:46
Was this meant as a parody? Of Spinal Tap maybe? Just laughable.
No and no.
Ruby Starr ( The prolific 70's rocker chic.
I actually was at a concert in Jax, FL in '73 to see BOA. The warm up band was the Eagles. Man! I'm old😅
The origins of David Lee Roth!!!!!!!

00:18 Here we have a lovely set of furry ladies boots, to the right we have another set of ladies boots except these go up 6-8 inches above the knee and I don't even know what the Hell is going on in the middle...
Live right down from ol jd and one of my buddies is his beat friend he has a podcast now!
am i alone or does this audio have no right channel ?
Jim Mangrum’s pants were called the “tightest pants in Arkansas!” They had to have been hurting his cajones!
