Bought a 20 year 2 stroke engine. I found this extremely helpful. So to choke you are pushing the key in. Then the next time you jist tuen the key. You do this when in neutral, correct? Have lot of questions but extremely helpful.

Wtf. I'm getting 17 in th city with mine it's a 2015 ram SLT with the crew cab and 6.4 bed. And I'm getting around 21 22 on the expressway. Mine only has the K&N intake and muffler and resonator delete.

Hows that gonna work at a dock if you forget to start it once before you leave? Keep it on trailer and start it that way? Would be about the only way to do it i figure for a cold start needing throttle applied.

Where did you get the color match door handle and did you have to change the temperature control on the fan to run the V6 fan

why not just cut the wire from your original horn? or get a plug for that og horn plug it conncts to?

I think these motors were the pinacle of carbed 2 strokes. They, along with the yamaha v4/v6 are some of the most reliable motors ever made. Just sharing my thoughts.

Looks good but the relay switch wires should of been facing downwards to avoiod water getting in not upwards.

Hello, i have the wires all connected and it is set to go off with my horn, but when I press it down the relay clicks but compressor doesn’t turn on. Any ideas?

you want to have the Rear of the horn higher than the front and so condensation can run out and not stuff up the horn

Did you start that in gear (forward)? No separate throttle lever to do it in neutral?

you want the fuse as close to the battery as possible.......you should have soldered the blue wire in first

Is there a reason I can't plug this in using the preexisting wiring in my truck? I'm not electrical savvy but assuming it's 12 volts it looks like I can plug the wires straight in from the old horn.
