Ammaaaazinggggggg (2024)
How come you did not make any new videos in a long time?
Best kit I’ve seen. And I’ve seen a lot of videos. Love how minimal it is. Super travel friendly.
You might have room in your little box for a contact case for carrying water. I've the creativity!
Even a decade later, this is still just as brilliant as it was back then. Well done!
Super clever all-in-one solution!!
I made me a kit the other day I used a punch out tray from a pack of gum for mine so I have 8 colors and a sponge and 2 brushes and I love my kit
Good ideas! Thanks!
Thanks ❤️❤️
Stumbled upon this today, this is awesome! Not lame at all! Original, inspiring! Thank you for sharing.
love this !!
I've been looking for a way to carry a larger number of a small bit of paints and thought about using bubble wrap, but the pill sheet is absolutely brilliant. I love you notebook too. You know someone said, if you get good enough at anything, someone will pay you for it. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if that happened to you. Best wishes and thanks for this.
Yea, not lame at all!!! I think that was a great idea and if anything it makes it even more arty like. Lol thanks for sharing 👍😄
I am sad to see this is the last video you've posted. I wanted to see how you evolved in 6 years... Hope you are alright.
BRILLIANT!
very clever and practical. Thanks for sharing!
Brilliant!! You know those icy breath drops...the liquid ones? They come in a TINY dropper bottle. It would fit. Also, a 3, 10...even possibly a 15 ml bottle that I use to hold e juice but they can hold water well, use them all the time. They would probably fit.
Julie Kent you could try one of those water paint brush pens. A few dollars on ebay :)
That's a beautiful set. So are you, handsome. 😉
well done!
thanks more sharing! One of the most helpful tutorials thanks
Pill pans! You absolute beauty! Thank you soooo much for sharing this idea :)
this is great! love your book
this is ingenious and super inspirational...thanksooooo much!
The book isn't lame at all! You deserve your kudos! 😊😊😊
Pure Creative Genius! How often would say you need to refill the paint "pans" ?
Ingenious. I have a few "blister packs" that I will use just for this purpose...thanks for sharing such a clever tip!
brilliant!!!
Brilliant
Thank you I just did your idea for the Altoids tin that a friend had come back from U.S.A and I scored the tin from them lol . Anyway it looks fantastic thanks again Gail Adelaide South Australia
This is awesome! Especially for those of us who can't afford the nicer Winsor and Newton watercolor pallets. One suggestion though instead of using a pill pan you should use the gum pans instead (like this one www.womenshealthmag.com/sites/womenshealthmag.com/files/images/sugar-free-gum.jpg) cause there is more room for more paint. Just a suggestion! Awesome video man!
Pill pans is absolute genius!! You are the only one that has said that & it's awesome. TY!!!!!!!!! MCC;)
Very innovative
cậu này để màu trong vỉ thuốc hay sao ý.
Wow, super impressive. Thank you.
I'm happy everything is working out for you hang in there
You are so creative
Pill pans! What a great idea! I've always wanted to take along my watercolors when I go to a café. But, all the palettes I found were way too big. This Altoid set is the perfect size. Thanks so much for sharing.
Not lame at all! This is inspired! Thanks for sharing your ideas.
A huge amount of kudos for your ingenuity in creating such a useful and functional cost effective mini watercolor paint kit. I'm so impressed that you managed to utilize the available space to the fullest, congradulations! If I may make a small suggestion to help you evolve it a little further. I use the brown paper sacks from the grocery store, I cut them into useable sizes and make sketch books similar to the watercolor version you made. The bags make excellent quality paper for sketches in pencil black and white and that mid brown gives the art work a great mid tone to work from. May I also suggest that you consider painting your mixing pad mid tone gray as this makes mixing the correct color and tone easier and aids you the artist in identifying them more readily. I thought your use of pill pans is simply a genius idea, almost weightless, compact and big enough for most mini projects. Overall I found your presentation and your mobile watercolor kit impressive and I am not surprised that many others here, do also. Keep painting and enjoy. Big thumbs up and subscribed.
I may never throw away another pill burst pack again. I love this idea. I may make gift sets for the artists I know. I think it will be a terrific addition to their paint collections and maybe the most used!
I was interested in making a traveling kit (I might end up using another similar small container, but in general the same concept) but really having trouble in thinking what can I use for keeping the paints inside without actually buying something, and the pill stripe idea is BRILLIANT. Thank you so much for sharing this!!!
Your kit is one of the best designed that I have seen Love the kneaded eraser idea Than you!!!!!
You can use bottle caps in that Altoid tin ... 6 in the bottom ... Layer of plastic or credit card and 6 more caps ... Some water bottle caps are shorter than others ... Great video ... Thanks for sharing!
I think you should try peerless watercolors instead for your set , since they are just pieces of paper you can stick small strips of them pretty much anywhere and they last longer than the amount you can put on the pill plastic thingies...
Peerless paints are expensive. His objective for this was to make an inexpensive travel kit. I think he did a brilliant job of it.
Ali C agree. Many people don't understand "poor"
Clever idea! I have an empty Altoids tin I didn't want to throw away, I might try this:)))
Love your video and love your book! Very creative 😊😊
Cool!
Brilliant!!!
