My friend found it online about 15 years ago. Paid about 230 for it LOL. I borrowed it to make the video. Ebay or Belttalk on Facebook are gonna be my best resources bro

I agree with you brother! It's a great looking belt and it has a ton of good history behind it for who held it. Just checked ebay and there are a ton of foam kids belts and cheap fake bootlegs of it. I'd say put a post up on belttalk on Facebook and see if anybody has one to sell

Are they 2 mm or 4 mm? Honestly if they are bootlegs I wouldn't test it. There's a better chance of cracking the plate. If they are figs 2mm or wwe 4mm (carefully!) give it a shot!

The intercontinental will be easier to do. I did mine over the arm of the couch being careful to place the curve at each end equally so it doesn't fold but it curves

Sounds good my friend! The winged eagle will be harder to curve just because it's a smaller plate. Do you have the one with the sidebars attached? If so be careful

Set in the middle of a couch cushion and gently push on the top and bottom of the top side of the center plate (preferably ON the strap). It's easier on the 2 mm like I said but you can try on a 4... Best of luck!

The grommet snaps on the snap boxes I did carefully with a set of snaps from Walmart or Michael's. They come with a base to hammer them onto and carefully hammer them down. There are snapsetter presses you can buy but I don't have one yet

I’d be more careful with the 4 mm and how many times you bend the 2 mm but yeah

2mm should be fine yeah but I'd be careful with 4 dude

It is definitely a risk that takes guts.If you're not confident I'd suggest finding a friend that is. Good luck!

It's possible but plastic is too malleable and breakable for my bravery lol

Plastic is a lot weaker than metal, so while it could work, it’s highly recommended not to try

@@ApexVipah1 thanks man, I contacted him. On the texture does it look like it broke through the “gold” finish at all? It looks like he just took a stamp and it it a bunch of times but I don’t want to do it if it might mess up the finish. I was also gonna try to take a gamble and get a curve in it as well. Been trying on my nl but it’s just too tough on my arthritis. lol. Might need to get a friend to help

Sounds like a plan my friend. The plating on that replica looks pretty pristine. Unless he replated it he found a better way I don't know of. Best of luck on the curving!

That's something I haven't ventured into yet lol. If it were me I would probably do it and countersink the holes at the front so the screws can be kind of flush with the top of the plates. That's just my opinion. I'm not too huge on actually cutting into plates to be honest with you lol

@@ApexVipah1 update i have successfully curved my 13 scratch logo belt, and your basic grill with 2 straps is a FANTASTIC way to get the perfect curve with less risk.

I completely understand my friend. If you're too nervous don't give it a shot yourself cause it IS a risk. The more solid 4 mils (ic title) are a bit easier to curve but but the spaces in between the w's give risk. There are always options for getting your plates curved by those who do stone work if you'vegot the money and patience to s3nd the belt away. It's just a decision if you want to do-it-yourself or have somebody else do it. I'm not sure what they're policies are if they break plates tho... I've only seen vids of successful curving lol

Whatever floats your boat my friend. I'm sure there can be other belts made but I prefer to give my money to somebody that gives the original artist a cut lol. Im not a big fan of bootlegs. Nothing against your belts at all, just how I feel. Keep collecting!

@@ApexVipah1 that is fair enough mate. Personally though, I don't care about that. I care about the quality & accuracy of the belt I am paying for, not who gets a cut of the money.

I know. Nowadays he’s quite a hypocrite but that was my favorite wrestler when this belt was around so that’s the nameplate I want lol

Some of the earlier versions WWE released had side plate spots and screws instead of grommits for that title. Essentially they made it as a replica just with plastic plates and i happened to find one

@@ApexVipah1 the current commemorative belts have screws. The wwe, universal, raw womens etc. side plates are all 1 piece. Does the old big scratch logo still have removable side plates?

@@KendallStands As far as I'm aware it's just a very limited run of 1 or 2 versions of the commemorative scratch logo specifically. None of the current commemoratives have removable side plates. The only way you can do it is by modifying them now

I've seen a lot of people do that too but personally I like to keep the plates on the strap so I know the plates will fit and the plates have extra support where the screws are. That being said it is harder to curve 4 mm and above plates on the strap but I do have a video coming soon, I know I said that a while ago but stuff comes up lol I'm planning this week for more videos

Carefully over the arm of my couch applying weight evenly. I pretty much curve it in thirds. I start with the center than halfway to each side until I like the curve. Be careful of paint popping out

The crest itself is simply the McMahon family crest. The text underneath is Latin and says "Thus we guard our sacred rights."

I imagine it refers to their right to produce sports entertainment lol. I'm not really sure. I just know he wanted his family crest on the title back then

The way I did it is extremely carefully over the arm of my couch. It gives me a nice round angle so I’m not risking snapping it very much. I’d be incredibly careful though and keep an eye on the red swoosh underneath. That paint can come out easy
