Not impressed

Took them so long that that seal could have stopped breathing and died. They had 5 guys on that boat that could have been helping instead of just standing there like a bunch of morons. They could have spoken to the pup and calmed it down, instead they scared it even more. The seal was distressed after they freed him. They should have let him rest instead of poking him and shoving him back in the water. Idiots.

I would call someone get it to a vet he's had that on him along time

Awesome rescue but I don't like how that baby was prodded overboard before it was ready. Poor seal must've been tired. It was a tiny seal and probably should have been taken to a rescue center for seals 🦭 imo....

The commercial line was heavy and the seal couldn't breathe properly nor eat. Once you remove the net the seal needs to rest from exhaustion. The seal will return to the water when it's rested, prodding it with the hooked pole wasn't necessary. Ocean Conservancy Namibia rescues seals with illegal gill nets and fishing line wrapped around them daily for the last few years.

Should have let him rest. He was obviously exhausted. He was sitting there to rest. Did he act aggressively towards you? You're just the kind of people who is not sure about animals.
