Not that I could tell and I have stayed at multiple resorts, always ask for the top brands available at the resort when ordering. Some resorts offer a premium liquor upgrade option but this resort does not.

I did not see any wheelchair access to the beach at Coral level, there is a sidewalk on the Iberostar side that is flat and goes up to the beach and then you would be in the sand with beach chairs nearby.

You would need to inquire at the front desk to see if they offer day passes for guests.

The hotel does have designated smoking areas, I would check with the hotel on arrival to make sure. I am not a smoker so not sure. I did not see anyone smoking in non designated areas.

I have been to RIU Las Americas twice and I feel the beach is better due to its location helps keep the seaweed out. I have not been to Kukulkan but in reviewing videos it appears that the pools are not as nice with wide open spaces and no palm trees, does not seem as relaxing beach wise. I am sure the food is the same at all RIU resorts, I have stayed at several and they are all the same. My favorite RIU resort in Cancun and Mayan Riveria is Las Americas.

Yes, they are all inside and air-conditioned . There is also an outdoor dining area that is covered.

They are both favorites of mine. The room at the Coral level is better especially with the jacuzzi on the balcony oceanfront, you can not beat that view period. The food at Coral level in main restaurant is better that RIU, but they only have the one, you have to go to the main resort for the al la carte restaurants and they are not as good as RIU. The pool is great at both, with the RIU having more pool space, but the coral level is much more upscale with free cabanas and cushions in the lounge chair. If you want an upscale adults, quite , relaxed atmosphere then Coral level, if you want more people and a sister resort next door with a night club and only 3 blocks from Coco bongo and entertainment center, then the RIU. The beach at RIU is calmer and easily swimmable, beach at Coral level is great, but the waves are a little strong.

Not at the hotel, but you can go next door to the sister resort hotel RIU for their night club, you have access to all the restaurants and facilities. 3 minute walk

Yes, I have stayed twice at this hotel and had no issues with the water in the restaurants or bars. It is recommended to use bottled water to brush your teeth in Mexico.

There were not any directly in front of the resort, but you could find them within a short walking distance on the beach in either direction, about 100 yards or so.

Check out the RIU Palace Las Americas, another favorite adults only resort in Cancun that is more quiet and has a nice beach. I have a video on my channel.

The rooms are not outdated in my opinion, I have stayed in hotels that needed updating and this is not one of them. Plus every room has a great view and this is the best adults only resort in cancun for the price. I have stayed at nicer resorts, but paid $200 a night more.

This resort is good anytime of the year with minimal seaweed issues due to it's location. I usually travel early May and then early December for best rates , fewer crowds and good weather. Spring is also great, but rates higher.

You receive one free visit to the spa per stay per person. You can also go for free if you get a massage or other treatment. The spa is located in the Iberostar selection next door, you have access to everything there.

The hotel is steps from the beach and I loved having the jacuzzi tub on the balcony and the view from the upper floors is amazing. It was nice having the sister resort next door to enjoy as well, 2 resorts in one. Going back in December

The hotel averages around $300 per night and I booked on their website for the best deal. The beach is great and having the use of the sister resort next door gives you plenty of options

Was there in 2017 and was heading back when covid hit. Definitely going back sometime soon. Great video. Hotel is superb has to be on everyone's to do list.

Glad you liked the video. There is no lobster night or big seafood night at the resort. They do have seafood options and lots of fresh fish the chefs prepare daily. Overall the food is very good, but you have to stay at one of the more expensive resorts for lobster. I recently stayed at the Coral Level Iberostar Cancun and they had a seafood night with lobster on Thursday nights.

The tequila at this resort is mid range, not premium. The waiters do bring drinks to the guests at the beach and they have hamburgers and items beach side during the day. The buffet is only steps from the beach, so nothing is far at this resort.
