A Buddhist here. I personally think it's possible that lower-case gods exist, but if they do, it's probably on a different plane than ours. However, whether or not they really exist has no bearing whatever on me or how I live my life.

are gods in Buddhism born?...which means the effect of sexual intercourse...or just created by nature?

The question is whether there is belief in one God. What he is referring to is many gods, which maybe termed as fairies or nature spirits or deities etc.

As a western Buddhist I believe Buddhism is a philosophy a way of life but I do believe there is a living God out there but I'm also inclined to believe that the Bible was severely altered by man. That the way of the Buddha learning and meditation can actually lead us to know who God really is instead of listening to man's construct of God. I believe we have God in us all but he is there to help us but he does not wish us to rely on him completely no blame the devil for every bad thing we do. I don't believe we are gods I believe that if we connect ourselves with everything existence we connect to God I believe God gave Buddha the wisdom that he had to teach us how to climb out of the darkness that is the social construct people have built.

Exactly what I have been believing. Humans who have accumulated a lot of good karma will be born as gods or devas who need to accumulate more good karma to attain nirvana. These gods or devas can protect us through divine intervention. They are still part of the karmic cycle

BUDDHA NOT A GOD BUT GOD LIKE DUST IN FRONT OF BUDDHA WANNA KNOW WHY ❤...... Buddha not a god but he more powerful than any god wise than any god...he was born highest god realm before (past lives) he becomes Buddha . According to Buddhist teaching anyone can go to heaven and become a god by doing sufficient good karma...But GOD REALMS NOT ETERNAL IT JUST ANOTHER REALM but gods have long enjoyable life....but it not eternal after end of your good karma's results you have to leave realm (dead)......so Buddha was not here to teach to human how become a god... his teaching far beyond that "breaking the birth and dead cycle" ..... so god also trapped in this cycle. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Would you be so passionate about your God if there was no promise of a glorious life after death? Would you fear him if there was no threat of an eternity of pain and torment? What if your God just delivered a message of peace and wisdom and his philosophy on death was eternal peace with no afterlife? Would you remain faithful to him or would you seek another God who promised bliss or retribution after your demise? Would you still worship a God who didn't claim the ability to heal all your ills and rescue you from the vagaries and pitfalls of life? If you decide to discard the old God of the carrot and stick and begin to appreciate the philosophy and wisdom of a new entity who doesn't promise anything but internal peace and understanding then Congratulations, you are on your way to becoming a Buddhist and your new life will be better. Blessed be.

I have come to the conclusion that no 2 buddhists believes in the same thing.I have researched Buddhism and of those who are learned in this philosophy, they contradict each other in what they believe in. Some say they believe in a God, like in this video and many others who deny the existence of God. There are 3 questions we come to eventually in life - 1. Where have we come from? 2.What is our purpose here? 3. Where are we going after death? None of these philosophies like Buddhism answers any of these questions, instead they have no answer and whatever answer they concoct has no logical or objective basis. The only answer lies in the sacred texts which have been passed down the centuries from Prophets who have come along the way. However, most of them have been changed by the hands of fallible men so we can't trust them to be 100% from the divine being. In my research only one book has survived this corruption of sacred texts and the acid test is how do we know if this book is not written by man? What proof do we have.We can all have opinions based on one's knowledge and understanding but we cannot argue against mathematical logic eg 2+3=5 is the correct answer in every language and we know this to be true without denial. So here it is a book full of Mathematical miracles which could not have been written by man for those genuinely seeking the truth - th-cam.com/video/CSveh9fk1Oc/w-d-xo.html
