Hi, is there a reason for the reverse instillation of the street tire?

I’d like to mention the pad versatility seems way better on the menten, and of course it being smaller makes it better for impromptu play where the a2 is more of a rider vs a player kinda wheel

My wheel was also misaligned out of the box. Fender rubbing plastic on the rear.

The F22pro is the first dual-suspension EUC. Although there’s significant room for improvement in the design, I believe that eventually, all performance wheels will be dual suspension. The F22pro suspension seems to operate with the air suspension and hydraulic suspension systems in parallel but future systems should be designed to work independently. With hydraulic being the cushion between the tire/batteries and the air/coil system being the cushion between the battery/chassis and the pedals. This allows fine tuning for both systems at different spring-rates and dampening, so as to better adjust to trail/road conditions. Eventually, the suspension will be linear electric motors instead of mechanical, which will greatly extend range, reduce weight and increase safety. Dual suspension systems are an interesting design development for long-term product viability. The F22pro should be a good start in this direction. Soon, I’d like to see an interlocking mechanism (4-bar linkage) between the two pedals that allows them to move vertically up/down in an opposite direction so that the inside foot is retracted around corners while the outside leg is extended. The expectation is that the performance benefit from the overall lowered CG will outperform fixed pedals, even though there’s a slight weight penalty for the initial mechanical iterations. Floating pedals? What do you think, how many pedal-clipping falls could you have avoided if only you could have lifted one pedal out of the way? {Also, if pedal travel (under 5mph) isn’t limited excessively, then you can simply lower your foot to the ground at a stoplight without removing your foot from your pedals. 😊}

Great to see NSW taking positive steps towards legalising EUC riding. Victoria finally legislated for e-scooters a month ago (after 2.5y of seemingly endless trials). Amazingly they bucked the trend (all other states and territories and the Australian Road Rules) by ONLY recognising e-scooters and not a broader PMD category (encompassing EUCs). So Victoria is shaping up to be the ONLY state where EUCs can't be ridden. Need to work on that... Then of course there's NT where apparently parliamentarians were e-scooting to work, blissfully unaware they hadn't legalised them yet!

So let her document her learning on the ugly 2 rim version of the mten5 , then when she can ride that, let her switch to a real EUC and record her reactions to that. I am argumenting that you need to learn all over since the 2 rim version wheels are not teaching people how to ride an actual EUC. But maybe I am wrong.. Let's see! Good news about the regulations, weird that you have different rules in different areas..
