I edit video for a living and I am baffled at your use of music. Finding music that matches tone is so time consuming and difficult that sometimes when music is close enough that's what I choose but your choices are freaking perfect. Ugh...

Mochi at 7 minutes: "Babe why aren't we on the couch?" This video is so real. I'm 39 and a dietitian, have cooking skills, nutrition skills, knife skills, (nunchuck skills), a really great set of kitchen tools. Yet I too, often prefer ordering takeout to the labor of cooking - especially on a work night. Shopping and cooking in one night? Forget it! So you shop in advance and then have to manage your fridge, learn all the tips to prolong the shelf life of your fresh foods, you'll need a good storage container set for any leftovers, and let us not forget having to clean up after! It's all unbearable these days. I will say, though, that magic and alchemy of creation that happens in cooking, and the goodwill generated from sharing your food with loved ones, is incomparable. My contribution to your plight = depending on the space you have (tight in nyc I know!), a small countertop dishwasher is MORE THAN worthy of investment. I have the Energy Star Countertop Dishwasher from Homelabs, a pandemic present to myself in 2020, and it is still going strong today with no issues. It will generally hold the day's dishes and I use the rinse from the machine to "pre-soak" my pans with some dish soap. So much joy in your content, thank you for these :)

Whatever you do in this life it just will taking you between heaven or hell after this life...i just remind you all that end of time is near prepared with do charity to your goodness in eternal life....

When whole foods cost more than take out, I wouldn't cook either 😅 Here it's the opposite. I can't afford not to cook myself (as long as I want it to be healthy-ish)

Really enjoy your movies, it takes me days to watch because I want to make sure nothing will disturb that time! I also don’t like to cook at all, all my dishes are boiled food with oil salt and pepper, I learned to enjoy them as take away it’s not an option for me! I was telling myself you were really european minded for an american, until I watched this video xD . I guess when you have so many options around you it's easy to feel like ordering but come oooon the planet will say thank you and it's not that hard when you're used to it, actually almost everywhere else in the world, cooking is like brushing your teeth : you don't ask yourself if you feel like doing or not, you just do it. And guess what ? With sharing your experience, you'll even make a french gril try your recipe :). Thank you so much for your videos, they're all so nice, I really like your personal touch.

I'd love to host dinner sometime but stars just never align. I have nothing at home except salt and pepper and I have noone to invite. Which I think solves the problem.

I can't stop commenting on your videos because 1. They're fantastic and 2. You're healing my NYC experience haha. You've found an entertianing way to truly express why it's just hard to cook living in a small apartment in Manhattan. I could feel the summer heat with the oven on, the stress of shopping (I found 9pm was the best time to go) and schlepping it home. I was constantly knocking things over while trying to cook in a TINY space. And groceries are so expensive there that it just doesn't feel worth it until you get so over the same takeout that a home cooked meal truly heals the soul. Will continue loving every video you put out!
