That's typically a font issue. In your CCS, you can change your fonts to just the default "serif" and "sans-serif," then remove the corrupted font files.

The checker will tell you which line of code is causing the error. Then, you can diagnose from there using the specific error code.

I am not sure if Canva has a "painter" in their features. Otherwise, you'd need to create custom drawings in Paint, Photoshop, etc, and place them in.

Do you have BOTH script files downloaded and placed into the same folder where they can see each other? One is the "hyphensGetList" script and the other is "hyphens_apply_fromActiveListDoc." This script will fail without both parts-the Hyphen Catcher and the Hyphen Applicator.

The trouble is that the photo appears on the OTHER page of the spread, and for many commercial printers (who require inside bleed), they will consider this an error. Separating the pages prevents this "crossover" from happening.

So yes, the Print Replica will work on ANY Kindle device, it just might not be in color, depending on what the device's capability is. If you need to force the devices to look at something in "spreads," you must use the Comic Book version.

You can't make a global style like that without scripting. I think you're saying, every instance of a font at 10 pts automatically turns red? You can do this via Paragraph Styles, however.

Oh! Really? Is it "PAH-geen-ah", then? I took spanish class in high school, so I tend to use a spanish pronunciation for such words. Thanks for the correction.

@@beckysgraphicdesign no problem at all! I can only say that in Italian and spanish the pronounciation should be "pàgina" with the accent on the first "a". This is very much like when, a few centuries ago, ‘Allegro’ and ‘Mosso’ were written on the sheet music in Italian whatever the composer's linguistic origin. Traces of this can also be found in InDesign when ‘Italic’ is written in italic 😀

Are you saying you want to do something like MailMerge in Microsoft Word? I have often wished for a "counter" in InDesign, but the only good way to do it is with numbered lists.

Oh, like for printing a booklet with "out of order" printed pages due to physical page order. I haven't experimented with that in InDesign.

Yes, if you combine all of your .indd documents into a book (.indb) file, you can set the footnotes to "Continuous" rather than "Starts at 1." You might not SEE those changes take place until you do a PDF export, however.

​@@beckysgraphicdesign I did, but it's not working, each chapter starts numbering from footnote 1, maybe there is a script for that, but I couldn't find it online either.

In the GREP tab, search for: ~b ~b Or sometimes:

1. Upload PDF file into Kindle Create software 2. Choose either Print Replica or Comic Book 3. Export file (it will create a .kpf file) 4. Upload .kpf to KDP (where you would normally upload an .epub file)

I had the same problem My comic book version kept getting rejected so I did the print replica and it worked. WHen I opened up kindle on my phone the images were not fitting the screen. I had to scroll around to see the pages
