I wouldn't leave it unattended even though it is pretty stable. You never know if someone or something would bump into it causing it to fall. But it is pretty stable and can stand on its own even with a heavier camera set up, and can stand against moderate wind. But yeah, I'm not comfortable leaving it standing tall on its own, I normally bring it down to its lowest level whenever I need to briefly walk away.

Yeah, otherwise it wouldn't stand straight on its own. It locks the ball head on the feet.

Depends on the project I'm shooting. But most of the time, I didn't have to extend it all the way up when I'm using it.

It is, but I suggest looking into the Weebill 3S, or the Crane 4 if you want an ever more recent upgrade 👍🏼

You can't go wrong with either one. Both are really good options for a compact light source. I just choose to use the X100 more because I don't have the bowens mount adapter for the Colbor W100.

Any type of gimbal still requires a little bit of skills and proper technique in order to get a smooth shot. I suggest just keep practicing using the gimbal, keeping your movements smooth and steady and also make sure that your phone is properly balanced before you turn the gimbal on. Good luck! 😊👍🏼

I've only tried the smooth 5, so I can't really tell you which is the best. But any gimbal nowadays are really good at balancing your phone, so I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

I personally switch the camera vertically when shooting my vertical videos, it still give a much wider POV than shooting in 4:3 and cropping the shot. But if you need to film for both landscape and portrait at the same time, the shooting in 4:3 would be your best option 😉👍🏼

I own both and yes they do have a very similar look to them, but I think it's great that more companies are creating these lights that are compact, giving us creators more options on what to buy depending on our budget and needs :)

I use 35mm for the detail shots. Since I use a 16-35mm lens, I don't have to switch between lenses to get the wide and the zoomed in shots. This makes my workflow a lot smoother and faster.

The ZY cami app has a lot of features that you can take advantage of, but if you just want to get a normal video and not change any of the camera settings, then you iphone built in camera setting should be good enough to get the job done as well

Hey thanks for watching! I'm currently shooting with the DJI Mini 4 Pro drone, I have my setting set on Auto for most part except for the Shutter Speed. I shoot in 30fps so I have my Shutter Speed at 1/60 and the rest in AUTO.

I'm not really sure why mine was able to handle the weight to be honest. Take note tho, I'm flying the avata in Normal mode, I haven't tried flying it in Manual mode with the Action 4 mounted on top.

I do currently have the same phone you have. I feel like as long as the room or area is bright enough, the .5 lens does a good enough job. Just make sure your lens is always clean before shooting anything, sometimes the oil on the camera lens of our phones make the quality look bad.
