Get off the beaten track and drive the gentle gravel Morwell River Road to get to the Morwell River Falls Reserve. Tucked away just out of Boolarra, it is a place of peace. Its remote location and dense bushland is part of its charm. A walking trail takes you from the carpark past a series of stunning cascades in the upper reaches of the Morwell River in this oasis of native bush. The short wal...

I noticed you guys have painted your frame white before you put the cladding back on. Was just wondering why? And what you used. I’m renovating a 65 Franklin premiere atm. I watched this a week ago. Just can’t find anything on what to coat the timber in… or why! Cheers 😊🙌

Hi, we just used an interior/exterior white primer paint from Bunnings. Any brand really will do. We didn’t have to paint it but it was exposed to the rain for a few days so we thought we’d give it a lick just to protect the timber a bit.. not necessary though I think anyway - arj

Yes. We did 300km first day with incremental speed 80 k/ph for 10mins then 90/100/110 etc.. drove around town with start and stop sort of thing. As well as driving it on manual shift to just tick over the gears.. got it serviced for its 1000km warranty. All up about 1500km done before I started towing and we did same thing - drove incrementally with speed 70 for 10min 80/90 etc. Never went over 100k/ph hope that make sense

Thanks. Yes I got bogged in a couple of sandy spots, but if you’re an experienced 4wdriver, it’ll be no problem at all, at that time I had none. Everyone else there were experienced so they’ve helped me ticking long. Such an awesome experience, highly recommended & I reckon it’s better to do it with a convoy. My mates Dmax, no problem, handled it well , infact it was our spotter and leader as we trekked along. Not sure about rear lockers for it though, the car is pretty stock standard as far as I know.

Hey folks, loving the videos. I am in the running for a full time gig with the local radio station in Fitzroy Crossing, so I've been trying to see what I can find online regarding the Kimberly. TH-cam research of course brought up your nasty experience with the dead car, I've been kinda hooked ever since. I'm going to take a guess here that you work in photography, graphic design or media when you're not on the road because these vids are all way to profesh for average jo. would make one point regarding some of the reviews and comments you made about remote communities like Halls Gap and Tenant Creek. Yes these communities can be rough but the experience one has as an overnight visitor is in no way an accurate representation of how it is to live in lots of these communities. There are a whole lot of really amazing people in these communities who work really hard to try and strengthen the community and provide opportunities. As a family who are gathering some real traction on socials you need to be careful about the impact you could possibly have on a remote community by quickly painting a negative picture and then leaving town. I say all this as someone who has worked in community radio in remote communities before. Your videos are engaging, informative and entertaining, I'm glad I stumbled upon them and I'll happily put word out to others who I think might be interested. I'd also invite you to consider taking the coast road between Sydney and Melbourne once you get this far south. The communities on the far south coast of NSW have copped a thrashing from bushfires and covid and could do with tourist support over summer. If you considered stopping in Tathra I'd come out from Bega and interview you about your travels for my podcast and radio show. indimedia.com.au/category/podcast
