Hello Sir. I would be delighted if you could please help me out with my question. I have indefinite leave to enter in my passport. I came under a family member’s sponsorship. I arrived in the uk in 2018 (August) Am I able to apply for a British passport by myself or would my sponsor need to be involved in any part of my application process? I’m 32 years old & I’ve been on my own, working.. away from my sponsor after 2021.. our relationship just wasn’t great. She’s my sister, but not my biological sister & I never knew until an argument was had between her and I..

Hi, I have got my British Citizenship this year via ILR. my kids and husband have got settlement ILR this year. From your video it seems that they are eligible to register for citizenship without waiting for 12 month after settlement (needed for naturalisation) as one of the parent is British Citizen. I have started to fill in the registration form, there are two option 1) One or both of your parents is applying for British citizenship 2)Other - apply at the discretion of the Home Secretary. which option would my kids be eligible.

I have a question if possible please: I have a Spanish passport, but I am settled in the UK (permanent) living 20 years here.. Would it be possible to get married with my Algerian Spouse on a Marriage Visitor VISA, to then apply for this EU SETTLEMENT Permit Visa after she returns to Alegria, for her to come over again to the UK. The reason why I ask, is because I saw in the GOV website, stating that for the Marriage Visitor Plan they must not be planning to settle in the UK. (2024 update): "you’ll leave the UK at the end of your visit you’ll not live in the UK for extended periods through frequent or successive visits, or make the UK your main home" Kindly correct me if I'm wrong. So would it be possible to bring my Spouse after getting married in the UK on the Marriage Visitor Visa, with the EU Family Permit Visa.

Is being a student in my country enough to prove that I don't want to stay in the UK? I was thinking about visiting a friend, but I'm really worried that they would refuse it. Also, how much money does one need to have to prove that I can support myself? Also I travel fairly often, is that helpful on the application?

Hi Oliver, may I ask a quick question about the evidence you need to use to support your relationship. I have read many different things on the internet and wanted some clarification. Currently, my husband and I are living at home with my mother due to her health issues. This means we cant provide a council tax, gas or electricity bill as its in her name. We have managed to put my husband on the water bill, so that is one part of evidence. However, we are confused on what else we can provide? Is there any advice or guidance you can give? Many Thanks
