is the fuel pump priming noise normal on these bikes?
Yes, when you turn the key they prime. It’s because they are fuel injected like a car.

Kev, i have a 2005 Scion xA . I m planning to do the threee engine mounts .. On the rear one, did you lower the subframe a little bit like whsts show on TRQ video doing the same rear replacement?
Not on the XB not sure about XA. But it’s likely the same. So I’d say it should work just like in my video. No need to lower subframe if it’s the same. But good luck either way! Let me know how it goes!

I got so irritated trying to replace this mount about 4 yrs ago that I gave up. And I refused to pay $400 for someone else to do it. THANK YOU for posting a way to do this without dropping the subframe or using an engine hoist!

Method for getting that bottom bearing on the bottom triple is flawed. High risk of messing up the threads. 100 dollar mistake…
Not sure what you’re talking about, the bearings don’t have threads.
@@Kevstipsantricks The threads on the steering stem. When pressing in that bottom bearing the method you’re using where you use the top triple nut is flawed. The proper way to do this is to freeze that steering stem and use a pipe to hammer on that bearing, ideally with a shaved down bearing race (unless you can rig up a better press apparatus)
☝🏼This is the way! I did it this way a couple years ago. The hardest part of the whole job is breaking loose the bracket bolts... mainly the top one. There's just not a lot of space to get your wrench and strong arm in there. You really need a good 6 point wrench and positive attitude.

Why the temperature no level up On less 1 minute my charger have temperature
I noticed on the taser it changed the way the temperature gauge acted… It was always low like that. That’s why I had it showing the actual temperature in a number.

I gave up mid-install on my Scion Xa with trying to line up the holes for the new rear mount. Removing the old mount took a few hours. Dropped in my Toyota (from Longo Toyota) ream mount and then spent a few hours trying to line up the bolts from underneath the car. Raising and lowering the transmission via a scissor Jack with a block of wood but I couldn’t get the bolts to grab. I used a prybar and had them close but after six hours…I’m done. Replacing the starter the previous weekend made me overconfident. Sigh-off to the mechanic she goes😂
Thanks for this video Kevin! I agree that nobody actually has driving videos so this has been very helpful! Have you ever felt like you bottomed out or rubbed the exhaust on the ground at all? The only thing that concerns me is that the mid-muffler sits below the driveshaft.
Hey bud, thanks for the comment. no problems so far with the mid muffler being near the driveshaft really the only issue that I’ve run into is there’s two crossmember bars and every now and then I hit a good size bump. The exhaust will tap those crossmember bars ever so slightly you can hear it.
is it just on the jacks? no jack on engine or anywhere else?
Shouldn’t need to jack the engine with this method.
What about the 24mmlong cross bolt getting it out and putting in you left that out?
You mean the main bolt that secures the bracket, and the mount together? I didn’t think that needed explanation. You just undo it and slide it out. 🎉

Yes, I added a Borla S all 402 stainless system to my 2018 Charger. It can get very loud when you want it to, and can purr like a kitten when you want it to. The Borla system has no drone which is a huge plus and why I went with it. Your sounds very nice when you want it to purr. Throw the factory airbox away. They're really restrictive in the E model Mercedes. Just check the old one out when you finally get it out. Putting in a K&N full intake system on your car will give you a 22hp gain, and it's obvious it will. That's how bad the stock boxes are. A filter alone isn't even close. Your exhaust can only gain 11 tops because the stock system is pretty good already, but the stock air intake boxes are not.

I bought it used from Facebook marketplace, but it's the harbor freight motorcycle lift. It has tie-down spots and you just throw a ratchet strap across it after you lift it.

Hey there Kevin. Great video by the way thanks for sharing. I'm having a hell of a time getting the new races into the neck did you do anything special to yours? I'm hammering away at mine and it honestly seems to be tearing up the inside of the neck
@@christalbot3039 No I didn't do anything special. just put some oil on the inside of the neck and on the outside of the bearing race. place it in the hole evenly and wack it in. make sure you also have the correct bearings.
