For me, Pantera Live - Hollywood Palladium 1992, Sepultura Live in Verdun 1994, Exodus Wacken 2008 and Testament Live in London 2005 are the best live performances found on TH-cam. Phil from '92 is not the same as here, but he's still good, he's a great MC, he dominates. After '96, he is no longer the same man. His behavior on stage a few years later was terrible to see. "H" probably influenced the change in his behavior, tons of alcohol (I mean the period from '98 to 2004), but it seems to me that he did all that disgusting behavior on stage with the intention of annoying the Abbott brothers, especially Vinnie. Phil, at his peak, sang live what 99% of singers couldn't sing in the studio. He was unique in many ways, he knew how to run a show, incredibly charismatic, good sense of humor, good looks, he had it all. I remember when the NOLA album came out, my friends and I were surprised at how good the album was. Neither Pantera nor Crowbar could be heard, COC is felt but not much. Genius.

EHG is one of the heaviest concerts I've ever been in my life. Deafenig and super heavy.

Fuck Phil used to be a fucking monster. Sure singers fuck their voices over years but phil went from godlike to absolute shite in about 4 years. It actually amazes me how he's still able to produce any sound whatsoever with those fried vocal chords. Dude really had a gift.

lol I don't know what ministry slipped eddie but he looks fried at the end of this video lmao. Dude is just zoned out and gone. People were saying al is singing louder than him on purpose, its probably cause eddie is so fried he can't harmonize at all and sounds completely out of tune. Hence why paul looks over, I don't think he was looking at al singing too loud, he was looking at eddie out of mind on some substance not being able to sing worth a damn.
