Hi 🙏🏼 Welcome to my channel. I’m Simple Steve and I live out of my 2015 Caravan Mini-camper. This channel is about living a more simple and nomadic life, camping in our great national forests and deserts, and talking about life. Thanks so much for watching. Feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think!
Living in MINIVAN Camper and Traveling to 11 National Parks!
Howdy. These are highlights of the road trip I took this summer. In six weeks I visited 11 national parks around the Utah desert, the great Northwest, and the Rocky Mountains in Montana and Wyoming. I camped out of my minivan camper while staying in national forest and BLM public land. It was a great experience and I got to see a lot of beautiful places. But there were also some unexpected lows which I want to share in an upcoming video so stay tuned!
The national parks I visited were the following: The Arches, Canyonlands, Zion, the Redwoods, Crater Lake, Mount Olympus, Mount Rainier, the North Cascades, Glacier, Yellowstone, and the Grand Teton. The parks not shown in this video can be seen in my previous videos. However, I didn't shoot any footage through Glacier or the North Cascades.

It can be difficult to overcome the negative thoughts that seem to haunt our mental space. Dodge Caravan Minivan Camper Tour
มุมมอง 1.8K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Today I show you a tour of my dodge grand caravan minivan camper in action! I spent a week exploring the mountains around Silverthorne and Breckinridge Colorado. I had a wonderful time and was very cozy in this newly converted camper - besides the mosquitos! I made simple screens to keep them out, and they do a good job. But if you have to open the doors for any reason, well you're inviting the...

Minivan Camper Conversion | Simple and easy build!
มุมมอง 10K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Here's a look at the wooden platform I built for my Dodge Grand Caravan minivan camper. The idea was to raise the floor to be even, while keeping the size of the platform small and low to the ground. I used plywood and a few 2x2 pieces of lumber for support and bracing. I bought cheap carpet from Home Depot and use the basic tools to put everything together, nails, screws, staple gun, as well a...

If you’re going through hell keep going!

A little morning motivation for those who find themselves dealing with a difficult situation. Being aware of your mental health and deciding to act by reaching out to someone you can trust is the best choice. Talk to someone. We are social creatures and need to share our problems with others. People can act as a positive reflection of what to do. And remember - you got this! You can handle what...
Minivan camper | Planning out the build
มุมมอง 2842 ปีที่แล้ว
Hey guys. Simple Steve here just wanting to give you guys an update on what I plan to do for the floor of my minivan camper. My old wooden platform system was way too bulky and high. After traveling that way for a while I learned that I want as much space as possible and keeping it real simple. This will be a simple but clean, practical floor with door panels to get into each storage bin. I wan...
Living the minimalist life | Learn to let go!
มุมมอง 2652 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I talk about how minimalizing what you own is one of the quickest ways to foster peace of mind. Living a simple life with less things means freedom and less to worry about. Stop comparing yourself with others - most people are in debt and only have the illusion of success. Things do not equal success. You are not your stuff! Get out of the trap! #simpleliving #minimalism #thesimpl...
Living In A Minivan Camper to Save Money
มุมมอง 6742 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I share my plans to live out of my Dodge Grand Caravan while working a full time job. There's a lot of reasons why I'm doing this but the main one is FREEDOM. Paying a quarter to one third of your monthly income towards rent is insane to me. What if you were able to keep almost all of your paycheck and put it towards things like traveling and experiences? This is just a step towar...
You Are Already Complete
มุมมอง 1082 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I talk about how so much of the anxiety and worry we feel is unnecessary. And the search to find something or some person to complete us is a mistake. Life itself is it's own goal. You are full and complete at this moment. So stop searching for something outside of yourself to make you feel whole. Practice meditation by observing your thoughts. Watch them pass by and fade away, an...

Hey mate. Great video. Thanks
Don't pick them if you're not going to use them.Sorry, but it's a senseless waste.
Where exactly was this ?
Ooh. A year ago but I would suggest getting a small compressor fridge about half the size
Always love amanita muscaria! 😎
Dude I have ADHD I use Amanita Muscaria for this. I would like to come up to Colorado and pick and dehydrate a years supply.
Awesome Steve! Love it!
I hope you’re doing well Steve . I just found you today planning a cross Canada road trip on my golf , planning on being stealthy and never expected to find the rest of this. My journey is all about self discovery and rediscovery so this resonates. Stay true ! And would love to see you put out even a mini update video
Thank you for the encouragement, Steve. I am also considering converting to a semi nom@dic transition very soon. I’m only about 20 minutes South of the location you show here and although I’ve gone through CR via I25 many times over the last six years, I didn’t realize that there was open space there that would be friendly. I encourage you to look at some other RV lifestyle channels and expand your offering. As a woman alone, I’m going to be very interested in safety, staying warm, and super-stealth. Also, I am going to want to maximize my quality of life by looking for educational opportunities, figuring out how to stay connected, like via satellite, even finding communities of very mellow people who also are seeking a kinder gentler lifestyle. Peace to you, brother!
algorythm brought me here Steve! Your good vibe kept me! Subbed and liked. Keep being you!
And it's also my favorite mushroom
Why did the f*** did you just pick that mushroom that's the fly agaric it will kill you
No
Where do you find them in junction? I have lived here for 6 or so years and haven't came across one
Also, could you give coordinates or a drop pin location please?
No
Please explain why you refrained from nibbling the muscaria. I would have 100% gathered all of them and dried them
I heard that they can cause bad nausea and wasn’t certain what I was dealing with. I needed to do more research!
I was going to attempt to camp in the car over the weekend at dispersed camp site, but I bailed. It was way too foggy for my liking. But one thing that always came to my mind is finding restroom when I need to go. There might be porta potties, but those are not always the most welcoming.

Wise messages - your an old soul. Hope you are doing well and still on your path of living a meaningful life.
Good ideas. Stay safe.
This is exactly how i feel
You would be amazed to learn the properties and abilities of this mushroom 🤩 its very useful
Great content brother. Underrated! I hope to have the guts to quit my job one day but theres a lot of anxieties
If we had the freedom we wouldn’t mind being told what to do, that’s my take on it tho.
Where r u ?
Steve. How are you? Where are you? Hope you are doing well🥰
Dried and consumed at low doses, the Amanita is a very calming. It is somewhat sedative at first but after it's initial psychoactive influence and sleep, it brings a clarity of thought that is quite remarkable. I have collected the Amanita Guesowii here in South Jersey(the Pine Barrens) and it is a bit stronger than the Muscaria... or at least the ones I have found. While it may not be for everyone, I have benefitted immensely from its effects especially as a sleep aid. I personally would have FILLED that van with this tremendous gift from nature!😁
Thank you for sharing this,it's vital information ✅🤙
Thanks Captain Bill. A lot I learned while spending a couple months living near Denver and working.

We are lucky to have been able to travel!😘🥰
Society = Slavery Wilderness = Freedom
Great stuff. Love the Redwoods!
Wow! This was like watching a movie preview! LOVED it! Thank you for sharing these highlights. I hope you have more footage of these places that you'll share at a later point 😀.
Thanks Deb. I’ll be showing more footage in future videos 🙌🏼
Love your videos and I am wondering have you ever thought about Doing something really crazy? Maybe canoeing down the full length of the Mississippi River and documenting your journey or walking the Appalachian Trail from Mexico to Canada or vice versa I would totally watch that😊 I think others would too
Hey Guy! Sorry for the late reply. That sounds like quite the adventure haha. I’d really like to explore the Smokey mountains and up northeast towards Acadia. But I’m going to work up to it. This trip I did in the northwest was amazing and I saw a lot. But I need to focus on smaller parts of the country instead of trying to cover so much ground. It was a little overwhelming. I’ll let you know if I’m thinking about kayaking down the Mississippi :)
Wow!! ❤
Absolutely beautiful!! Nature is truly a wonder and breathtaking!!
Couldn't agree more! Thanks Rob. It was great sharing some of those moments with you and Tori.
Amanita muscaria = The Mother of All Mushrooms! 🍄😎👍😁
I still can't believe I stumbled upon such a glorious trail.
Great inspirational messaging at the end. Peace and Nomadic Live sent your way .TYSM
Thank you Sunflower. I appreciate you.
Lost me with the music Peace

I found your channel a few days ago, and a I love it!! There's such a chill, free-spirited vibe to it. I subscribed after the first video I watched. Looking forward to future videos. :)
Thanks Serenity 🙂 I appreciate you even wanting to watch. Nice to virtually meet you!
Great filming! Loved the sights! Enjoy your time visiting your brother. I don't envy you driving in the traffic there though! 😆
Thanks Deb! Believe me - the only reason I was going to LA was for my brother or else I would've steered clear :) Ventura, Ojai, and Santa Barbara are pretty though.
Great video. Thanks for sharing so many beautiful places.
Thanks Lonna Lamb. It was fun to edit together. Took a while 😐 haha. Hope you’re doing well!
@@themoodyvids your editing is excellent. I am doing well thanks for asking. I enjoy watching your channel.
Great video! Nice thing about the heat is that you can cool eggs with no fire, haha.
Bummer about the footage but awesome what you had!
Thanks Adeline :)
So many beautiful vistas in South West...including Utah. Arches. Canyon Lands has a feeling. Those rock formations are irresistible aren't they? Begging for you to scramble up. Thanks for sharing Steve.
Most definitely. There’s a part of me that wants to explore every nook and cranny of the canyon. Like maybe there’s an old mine with buried treasure, or just a cool bluff to climb. The southwest issue magical place. Not so comfortable in the middle of summer, haha. Thanks Joshua 🙏🏼
@@themoodyvids These places have a vibe that calls to free spirits, and they are gorgeous and rugged...but yeah, very toasty this time of year LOL.
That’s true. And the freedom being in the wild makes you feel is addicting. I love it!
I understand, take God on you journey 🙏stay safe.
Mario mushrooms!
Beautiful scenery. Totes jelly
Great stuff!
