I’m just starting this kit and in true pre 2015 Airfix tradition, the fits aren’t great. You’ve done a really nice job of that one. Great to watch a run through. Did you have many issues with the kit?

With weathering, knowing when to stop is a virtue.

You have done your research. It's on record from a ground crew member stating the upkeep mines arrived in red primer, and the one captured from Barlows Lancaster that crashed from hitting electricity pilons, but didn't self destruct was reported to be dark red.

The designation of those aircraft converted to carry Upkeep was 464 Provisioning.

Really nice build. I would be very happy to have this beauty sat on my shelf. Well done.

I am building a Lancaster rn and I got some glue on the windscreen! Not sure how to get it off, tried polishing it but seemed to make it worse

Those two bubbles are all I would be looking at once I'd noticed them. You should have tried again IMHO... especially as it weas a commissioned build because you know the buyer is going to point them out every single time someone looks at it (or worse have them pointed out)... also you missed a glorious opportunity to add LED lights in the engine to make the exhaust glow...

I have this beauty in my stash. Watching you build this has given me a new appreciation for the colour "Buff".

First, and probably my last, visit to your channel, not because you don’t have skill, far from it, you are obviously a very knowledgeable and skilled model maker, however I don’t like build videos that do not have any commentary, commentary about the build itself and/or tips and advice to help newer model makers improve their skill level and produce more accomplished results. Whilst I can turn off the “techno” music? Off it then leaves me watching a pair of hands doing things without any explanation of why, how, or when you are doing something, and obviously that is not much fun, and I feel that if you are going to video your builds then it is incumbent on you to do a commentary, even a computer generated voice would be better than nothing. Sorry but I hope my criticism will help you build a better viewer experience and in turn help you grow your subscriber numbers, and in turn allow you to monetise your videos and bring money in to allow you to build even more models. Very poor job. Basic techinics needed to do the job not seen. Use the paintbrush as using crayons. Glue job very bad. The achrilyc rods idea could be nice if well done. That colors? Try to learn more before trying to teach

A question, please: Is there no exhaust staining on the outboard side of the outer engines? Does the airstream carry the exhaust away from the surfaces of the wings? Thank you

Great job! Beautiful paint work. I’m building, nearly finished, the BII version of this kit as we speak …. I have some work to do yet.

I've worked on Typhoon for a few years now, since 2004, during the type's introduction to RAF service. Just my tuppence worth. The highlighting of the panel lines and rivets is over emphasised, military aircraft are not as flush and airstreamed as you might imagine when you view them close up, the gaps are there but not as noticeable as on this model. The soot deposits from the APU are spot on though. I've loaded a few ALARM missiles to another platform, ALARM was intended to be incorporated to Typhoon but it was withdrawn from service before this happened. The national insignia on the LH side of the fin is incorrect, the (subdued) red should be ahead of the blue. The AMRAAM/ Meteor missiles (sorry, did not scroll back through the video to check which ones) could never be fitted to the rear stations only, as the aircraft systems would prevent entry to FRS and therefore takeoff due to mass imbalance. Flight Resident Software does not like imbalance! Lastly, it's an ejection seat, Martin Baker type 16, not an ejector seat, anyone using the term ejector seat should be strung up by their own gizzards IMHO.
