Jesus loves you all
Elvis said that he had a bad temper. He said I don't lose my temper very often but when I do it's bad and I don't like myself later. He was a human being just like anyone else. The story your talking about is two sisters who followed Elvis every chance they got. They were jealous if Elvis had a girlfriend. I would have loved to have met Gladys. She was such a good Mother to Elvis and was very protective of him ever since he was born. I think their love was even stronger because of Jesse Garon being stillborn and her not being able to have any other children.
I have always loved Elvis
Nowadays..we have "stars" like Kenye west who brag about having 7 million dollar watches..while charging fans $5000 for stage front seats.. this is why Elvis is still the Best....
I remember seeing an interview with Red West and told this story .. God bless them both
Dear Mr. Glass, I hope you are doing well. Thank you so very much for all your hard and great work sharing Elvis with the world. I am rewatching this great documentary of yours now and scrolled through the first few comments and saw a request for help from a man in a care home in Italy last year. He was (and hopefully still is) hoping to be able to watch this video in Italian. I'm new to making videos for TH-cam (and absolutely nothing in comparison or caliber to yours) ...but I just learned you can select different languages to have subtitles automatically added to the videos, and am hoping you could add Italian and any other languages you see fit as options for Elvis fans worldwide. I'm not sure how to check if you've already done this as my browser and language is English..I just wanted to try and reach out just in case you have yet to do this and would like to. Thank you very much either way, and again for all your great work in your video productions and Elvis Relics site (among other work I've yet to discover) ..All the best, SK
Sorry, I was mistaken that subtitles in languages other than English can be done automatically...They can, but in programs outside of TH-cam such as Veed Studio or BigVu. My apologies again for assuming it was a near instant and automatic process.
Ill will remember you never be forgotten i think you day and night i miss you elvis🇦🇺
I wonder where those two sisters are today . .. I love you elvis I miss you❤
Merci pour ces documents et anecdotes fascinantes sur Elvis j attend le numéro 3 avec impatience.
Super tacky.
It's unhealthy for old men to slobber over Elvis.
Why do we fans love Elvis so much? The answer is simple: Elvis LOVED and APPRECIATED his fans.
How sickening that a so called fan, could rip the scarf from a little girls neck. Jealousy is a terrible thing. It's a shame she, and the "fan" that tried to steal the cross, were never banned from any concerts by anybody, in the future. Some people have no scruples.
If Priscilla blocked their car in and punched one of them, them pulling Priscilla out of her car n beating her up may have seemed justified by a Judge if She had pressed charges against the sisters. Elvis preferred to fix their car and let bygones be bygones.
Yes Elvis was a great entertainer but it's so sad what happened to him. He was put on a pedestal so high that no human could look up too! 😢
Hey Bud. Your talented with your videos. Would like to see more.
Can't believe those gals did that to P. Never heard of this. He could have broken his hand. Thanks for covering this. People today would have been arrested and then sued him. I can't believe those girls still showed up at his home and '68 special. I guess back then, women fighting with each other was looked upon differently. Glad to hear EP's music in restaurants and shops again. I think owners play Alexa or music from their songs list.
Hey Bud! Thanks for the JD passes! I love them ! -Byron
My word, everything about him was perfect and shiny. Beautiful man, stylish and talented like no other. Absolutely perfect ❤
Its june 2024 a year later im still her miss u everyday elvis rip my friend love betsy 🙏
Your theme song is beautiful 😍
What a great story! I love the ending!
Although I’m not an advocate for physical violence, if someone did that to my wife, I certainly would not just stand looking on, & that was two against one, & Priscilla was petite, & the one sister was probably double her weight, so I don’t blame Elvis one little bit. You jerk the chain of a tiger, you do it at your own peril. Those sisters were stalkers, not fans.
I only recently started on this Elvis journey. I have to say, I am amazed, hypnotized, deeply moved, and in awe of the life Elvis lived. I was born in 74, so I was very young when he left this world. Growing up, I really didn't give any attention to who he was, just seemed to be some guy on a velvet painting or heard crooning in the background as time went by . I turned 50 this year, and I guess I just needed to get old enough to be in the right state of mind to be able to not only dig in as deep as I can go, but to be able to appreciate what I am finding. It really all began when my partner of almost 20 years and I decided we wanted to get married in Vegas this fall. We have always been involved in music over the years, mostly bluegrass and jambands, and even used to perform together as the band Moonshine Summit years ago in Houston. We found out that our favorite bands were going to be coming together over a weekend in Sept. at the Westgate Hotel (formerly the International) for the Bender Jamboree festival. Also on site is a wedding chapel, Chapel of Crystals. We booked our passes for the music which included a hotel room, and also booked our spot for getting married by an Elvis impersonator. In learning that this used to be the venue that Elvis performed shows at, I decided to take a closer look at who he really was. Boy did I not see this coming! I fell deep into the rabbit hole, and have been watching everything I can find to put all the puzzle pieces together. It has been a lot to take in, getting to know him this way. It makes me a bit sad that I will never truly get to know or meet him, but I am moved by the fact that his "legend" lives on and continues to spread. He got one more fan, in 2024. :) I am very excited about the wedding to come, and can't wait to be at the "International" with all the back history and knowledge that I would not have had if I had not taken this journey into his world. I wonder who else will be there that will appreciate what we are getting to do, see multiple bands playing over the course of 4 days in one of the places where Elvis broke the ground and set all of this into motion, making it possible for all our current rock music to even exist the way it has evolved. I know I will have that on my mind when I am enjoying all the music and dancing with friends, as well as getting married and celebrating the best way I can think of. It will be one heck of a party/reception. I also want to thank you for putting these videos together to share with us all. Strange things are happening everyday!
Wow! thanks for putting all the effort and time into giving us this story.
