1:50:20 i dont remeber what version of the myth is cannon in the sereis but i am pretty sure there is a version of it where the punishment is given to him in the afterlife after the gods kill him, so he too was starving for eternity. Or maybe i am confusing this with a different myth because i also remeber something about the guy being stuck in a pont and the food being some fruit hanging on tree above the pond just out of reach

I forgot how abstract this whole world was, i love how those books manage to create the impression that the gods are truly beyoud human comprehension. It really made my imagination run wild as a child, this is what made me fall in love with those books
