Welcome to Vivid Racing Off Road!
Hi! And Welcome to Vivid Racing’s Off Road TH-cam Channel.
If we haven’t met yet, my name is Sydney, and I am the host for anything an everything VR Off Road!
In the 23 years that Vivid Racing has been open, we have accomplished so many milestones and had so many cool projects that you may have seen on our other TH-cam Channel.
Projects like our Sema Bronco build where we installed an Anderson Composite carbon hood, a K&N air filter, Stage 8 Icon Sasquatch Suspension, VRForged D14’s, Baer Big Brake Kit, and not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 rigid asap xp lights, as well as tuning it with our VRtuned tuning box. We had a blast taking this massive car out to the desert and sliding it around!
We have also done some power upgrades like installing a couple Magnuson Superchargers on 4runners, Tunda’s, Taco’s, and my favorite, our Jeep Gladiator Project!
But it doesn’t stop there because we did 3 different Raptor projects including upgrading the turbos on the F150 Raptor, and tuning the Bronco Raptor, as well as upgrading the intakes, and exhaust of a different F150 Raptor!
And we haven’t just done cars and trucks, we’ve also done some pretty cool UTV projects where we’ve built, tuned, and beefed up everything from Razors to X3’s and even the 1000R.
So why am I telling you all this? Well, it’s to prepare for what’s next.
Ultimately we are going to make this TH-cam Channel a TH-cam Shorts specific Channel. You may see some longer videos here from time to time, but for now we’ll be making shorts giving you information on Off Roading brands, products, education and terminology, and how to build your off road rig on a budget.

cvts fuckin suck in every automotive product ever made. theres nothing smart about a belt driven vehicle.
hi, 2024 pro xp 4 sport. I like shredding thru glamis, pismo and dumont. I know that the 24 fixed some clutch issues and probably going to clutch it for 32". I am a aggressive rider 40 years of sand duning experience. I drag race with the buds and love flying thru the sand bowls. I have 3 kids so besides me, the car carrys 3 kids. do you recommend the 32" gMZ sand strippers 14 paddle on a 15 inch rim for this car, stock 181hp?
Slip ons don’t count as exhausts lol. Unless all you want is noise.
If you're the tuner type, this drive system is pretty fun to tinker with. Snowmobiles have used them for years so there's plenty of different parts available. While it's definitely recommended for beginners to not stray far from the factory settings, once you understand how they work and the power curve of whatever engine they're attached to you can REALLY change the way a machine feels. I mean like radically. I could have a newbie ride a certain machine and then make nothing but clutching changes and not touch the engine and have them ride it again. They will have a hard time believing its the same engine because the machine just doesn't behave in the same way.

what is the difference between High and Low range on my Teryx4? Is it just less aggressive spring/weight engagement, or is there actually a gear change before the primary OR is the secondary disabled etc??

Question is why use them in a side by side unless they are simply cheaper??
Definitely not everything I need to know cause I have so many more questions other like troubleshooting the clutch to know if the issue is in fact the clutch out something else.

Exceptionally informative and helped me make a decision to get a clutch kit for my PRO XP because we go to the dunes a lot and i want more performance.
I can get the motor to run, idles ok, but when I try and shift into any gear, it grinds and stalls out. With the motor off, it wont shift other than into the first forward detent, not the second. No change with the new belt I put on. Any suggestions?
Using a different belt.. can afect the secondary clutch ? Polaris shop made a mistake and put an other belt, and the bearing of my secondary clutch got messed up… does it has anything to do with the belt? Thanks
Alright, I'm stumped on this one. Have a UTV that pops out of gear every so often, not pulling anything just normal driving. Unhooked the shift cable and manually put it in gear and it still does the same thing. When it comes out of gear it makes a clicking noise that's matched to the rpm of the engine, when the engine RPM slows down so does the clicking and it will engage back into gear. Any ideas at what parts I should be looking at replacing??? ANY help is greatly appreciated.

I have a 2015 Mahindra impact XTV 750s I need a secondary clutch The two little roller bearings Looks like a plastic PVC pipe Mahindraus tell me I can only get him by buying the whole clutch assembly for 500 the secondary clutch assembly They're two little plastic bearings basically our rollers Do you have any suggestions Thank you
The clutch on my rzr blew my mind. The belt looks similar to my harley. Looks like it has teeth for a sprocket but there is no sprockets? Why is the belt designed that way? Does the gaps allow it to bend easier? I GOTS to know.
I think it's for flexibility when it has to pinch down. if the belt was solid it would be more prone to crack or tear when it pinches together. it could also be for weight saving, cooling properties, or when it grips the sheaves.... I really have no idea thoe I'm just guessing 😂
Will the agency power air duct fit over the intercooler without any plastic trimming? hopefully it does for extra 110 Bucks. Thanks

I know everyone talks about big dogs when it comes to utvs, but i really love my zforce 1000, and i would like to get a litle bit more out of it. Sadly there is no information regarding a supercharged cfmoto...aliexpress sells an amr300/500, but i really don't know if it would fit on my machine...
The Kraftwerks supercharger has some noted issues with the Kawasaki KRX. Here are some of the documented issues: Fluid leaks Crank hub bolt loose failure issue Jumped timing from crank bolt issue Blown motor Fluid leaking out of fill reservoir fill cap ect. Compressor failure Tune issues Things we have learned over the past year that still are happening.

Kemimoto sent out another set after 3 months of non communication and Amazon refunding this purchase. Kemimoto didn't offer a refund and asked for my address to send replacements again!! I spent $1400.00 in installation, uninstall, reinstall, removal, and install my new Nilight whips. I pointed out the flaws and issues, but have not been addressed at all!! They then sent me the same junk whips out after me telling them to NOT send them because I certainly wasn't spending another dime on installation of an inferior product. Nothing they make or sell is quality, please you have been Warned DO NOT PURCHASE KEMIMOTO PRODUCTS!! They are junk!!! You have been warned!!!!

What about a 4wd truck, would a smooth tire on the front be better, kind of like putting big mud tires on all 4 on a 2wd ?

I have a 2023 rzr trail s 1000 its 100hp stop 1000cc motor do they make a supercharger kit for those anyone know of any??
I'm looking to go duning with my 83 k5 blazer. It has a stock 6 liter with a tune pushing around 350hp at the crank. (Im assuming) I've taken it out once before and did ok, but watching those side-by-sides with paddle tires was just night and day difference. I think I'd like to try putting paddles or something like those ss360's on my 4x4 truck but can't really seem to find anything. I'm currently running 35's so going to a 32inch in the back would mean i couldn't use 4 wheel drive, or could i put a paddle setup on all four corners?

Hey brother I have a 2016 kymco 450i it has 3000 miles on this machine. The belt is in peices,half is tangled up behind the pully. On the smaller clutch there is some loose round peices about the size of half inch nuts looks like there's 3 or 4 just rattling around, don't know what they are. It looks like a small groove 1/8inch teeth 1/8 apart and 1/8 tall teeth. The other belt is an inch wide,3/8 tall and 1/8 gap between teeth. Why would there be 2 belts? How would I get a new belt on, what's the best way? I need help, this is my first time doing this

I have a 2020 polaris general xp 1000. It has a stage 1 evo tune with a gilomen clutch kit. I run highway speeds a good bit but also play in the mud. Im hitting 7k rpms @45-50mph. What do you recommend on getting those rpms back down around 5-6k on highway speeds?
I think you need a heavier primary clutch weight
5000rpm at 30 mph sound right for my highlifter 900xp?
What about a clutch for riding down the road at low Rpm's 🤔
you'd probably want a heavier weight in the primary and probably a helix that eliminates the ebs

im driving a 2023 X3 DS RR 2 seater, I will be going to the dunes maybe once or twice a season. (first time this weekend) going to run my stock carnivores. my area is much tighter trails and logging roads so i don't know if I can justify buying paddles yet.
If someone has the right tools and understands mechanics adjusting these clutch set ups would be do able
I got a question for anyone that can answer it.. I have a Cub cadet volunteer and when I turn it on it makes some buzzing sound that gets louder as the engine gets more revolutions plus the speedometer is going crazy as I drive it( says 15mph when going about 5mph) would that be a clutch issue or something else?
