it loses its minecraft feel, I'd just play enshrouded if i wanted a voxel looking world with good graphics. I play minecraft cos its minecraft it has its own charm, its simple looking yet can be a very complex game

Quite a lot of comments mentioning it so I'll jump ship as well! You would get such better performance if you did this in VS instead, not only is it not java so it actually wants to run and be a video game instead of wanting to overheat your computer's parts, but VS as a whole is designed with modding in mind, I feel like you'd manage to spread your wings there.

ps1 style shaders could look cool with these graphics

I like how the inventory remains untouched, likely because if you did change it, Minecraft's spaghetti code would shit itself if you didn't know what you were doing
