This podcast is re-uploaded from my podcast series in my Patreon page. Because it's a podcast so there is not subtitles. I had been wondering for a long time why southerners are more friendly and generous. Of course there are many reasons but I'll just focus in the easy-to-talk-about reason in this podcast episode. There are 2 speeds, first one is natural then the second one is about 40% slower...

a shaved head would have been interesting! 😃
Vietnamese/ Tiên Viêt 🇻🇳 will going to be my 2nd. asian language for this 2025.
It's very convenient when we can read both vietnamese and english subtiles at the same time ! Today is wednesday the 13 th, a day that is considered as an unlucky day ( or on the contrary lucky) by people who are suoerstitious in european and christian countries .😊
i just found your channel, and i’m so excited! i think these videos will be very helpful for me in learning Vietnamese. thank you so so much for doing these!
Very interesting tips , but I live in the countryside in the middle of France, isn’t easy to come across people who speak vietnamese😢😢, so I follow your excellent videos thanks you very much 👍🙏
Finally, a vietnamese speaker that can talk at my level 😌 Great production and editing!
Great to meet your mom! 😊
What a fun video! Cam on teacher Thúy❤❤❤
Welcome Back! :) I was hoping to see more videos from you :)
she's back!
Look at the ingredients. Designed to kill.
I'm surprised that many of them really just natural ingredients without chemicals
I'm 58 years old and have lived my whole life in America. If I tried any of those it would be my first time. Are you sure they are American snacks? Except, the gummy bears with Tajin, i haven't seen the gummy bear ones but I've seen other candy with tajin on it in similar packaging. Tajin is a Mexican seasoning often put on fruits and candies. It has become more popular in the USA over the past several years.
haha of course they are, except 1 cracker from Russia, but still, he bought in the US. You can easily find all of that snacks on the amazon or some "healthy snacks/grocery". Just look up heavenly hunks, alyssa vegans, rob cauliflower puff
Hilarious that all mommies have noses like German Shepherds! Cảm ơn mẹ của Thúy!
cảm ơn anh : )
I have never seen the cauliflower before 😅
I was shocked too 😅
@ I think that I have not seen any of the snacks before. I have to finish watching
So interesting! Cauliflower!
Just about the cutest thing in the world. ❤ Cảm ơn Remind me of learning in grade school, you are a great teacher.
thank you! 😊
Thank you. Please keep making videos.
thank you, I'm trying my best to balance my life
I enjoy listening to you speak slowly, my brain just manages to keep up. It is very helpful. However, I'm very shocked. How can a Vietnamese admit to be a failure at growing plants? Has your DNA been modified? Is your husband sabotaging your efforts? Do you need a blood transfusion? I am bewildered beyond understanding. I guess being perfect you must need to have a weakness to keep you humble. :) Thank you for your stories!!
haha thank you! I'm glad that you enjoyed it : ) but yes, I'm the weird Vietnamese, I have too many animals to take care of so no time for plants!
That dude was so humble
Thanks so much for your videos. They are the best resource I have found so far for learning Vietnamese. I am trying to focus on the Northern accent so I don't confuse myself with other ones yet, and I appreciate the slower/more easily comprehensible content, because I'm just getting started. Veryy very useful videos for me, thank you!
thank you! I'm trying to find another helpful method with easier context
@@SlowVietnamese My main focus is being able to have casual conversations, so more videos with back-and-forth conversation, questions and answers, and how friends would usually interact casually in Vietnamese would be most interesting. As long as you include the CC for Vietnamese, that makes it easy for me, because I use the Language Reactor extension, and it allows me to click on any words I don't know.
These videos have made a huge difference to my Vietnamese journey. Thanks
I am glad that my videos helped you on your journey 😊
Why did you say rat nhieu in the northern dialect? "Zat nhieu" and not "Rat nhieu"?
cause we pronounce "z" for "r" in the north
@@SlowVietnamese Yes. I know. I thought your channel was for Southern Vietnamese practice. Then I realized you made about video about Southerners. I don't think you'd like it if they made a video about you.
There is no such thing as vegan ham unless the pig only ate vegetables its whole life.
:))) it's all just people playing with word
So many good ideas. Thank you!!!. Cảm ơn rất nhiều
These videos are excellent. Thanks
Is it a real life story ? :) I wonder but regardless your content is amazing and really makes me want to listen more and more. You're an amazing vietnamese teacher !!!
Thanks for listening! It's true :)
wasting time
sorry for wasting your time : )
i am 26 and married and very unhappy if it ever breaks down I want to live spiritual life alone maybe in Vietnam as it is very beautiful place
it is. I'm sure you will find many peaceful place like surburb of Dalat, highland, Ha Giang, ...
Since you asked... i feel im obligated to answer... I think most couples after marriage definitely to a large extend their sweet sweet habits definitely would change, to the stage of maybe caringless. I feel it needs a lot of effort to keep alive, the sweets things previously shared.....
it's very true! I totally agree with you. Many people today give up too easily
I really like these videos, please make more
Good video, talking about normal things in life. Your pace of talking in this video is really good. Thanks for helping my Vietnamese forward.
I am sorry but I don't think I can learn anything with such a beautiful teacher 😂 I keep getting lost in your eyes and have to rewind every 20 seconds bc I 'm not paying attention 🤣
it's all just make up 😂 but knowledge is real
@@SlowVietnamese And so witty too,! *le sigh*
Oh oh, where did the transcript go, that was so handy.
That was so cute and useful❤
Every Vietnamese woman I meet is stunning. I’m learning to communicate better with them

Thank you for this video my girlfriend yelled at me earlier for trying to hold her hand in public. This is very hard for me because holding hands is a way couples show love to each other in America. I guess I'll have to adjust and continue to show her affection through my actions. Not being able to hug cold hands or kiss a woman you greatly love will make a man feel cold.😢
we would appreciate a nice meal you cook or cleaning the dishes (or house) : DD
