at some point gopro started using heat resistant glue for session 5. mine would not budge no matter how high I heat it it

Thanks, you helped me a lot. I tought it can't be diassamble without brutal technics. I just fixd mine ,that was sit in the drawer for years now. The battery cable was broken. No ide how it happened inside the box.

Thanks! Nice step by step video, might come in handy! Did you know that the SD/charge port lid is made to clip off and on? Eases the repair procedure quite a bit, and you won't risk breaking it as you go.
