Absolute scumbags. I've been living in a van for 3 years now and have had a few minor things happen, mainly just annoyances, but nothing as bad as this. I'm really sorry that happened to you. Like you said, just some sad miserable people out there that want to ruin other people's fun to make themselves feel better *sigh

Although you probably don't want to, this should be reported to the police. At least then if it happens to another van and someone is injured you wont feel bad that you didn't make them aware, so they could possibly stop it from happening again. I think I watched a van life type video last year and the couple had their van window smashed at a car park somewhere in the countryside during the night when they were in it. I think some people have grudges against people living in vans.
