To be honest I hate those kinds of headcanons because they never make any sense with the characters they're about. Like with your example of Ashido being black, like what is the appeal? “She has curlyish hair.” So what? Is every character that has curly hair black? Or the fact that she can breakdance. Is breakdancing something only black people do? Like I don't get it. I mean, it's a similar situation to Pinkie Pie from MLP. So like, are we just assuming that all characters that are bubbly, full of energy, and extroverted are black? That's a very narrow-minded way of looking at things, and like you said, in the show, she is canonically Japanese so, again, what is the appeal beyond the way she behaves or the way she looks? It’s the same case I have with the “Sero is Latino/Hispanic” headcanon, because once again, isn't he also canonically Japanese? As well as the headcanon that says Sero is always high/is on drugs. Do people just say that because he's a chill and laid-back kinda guy? Do people not think a character can be chill or laid back without the use of drugs? I mean, this headcanon is kinda dumb especially since he's like 15/16. He's rather young and any kind of drug would damage his developing mind, so I don't understand what the appeal is. As I said, I hate headcanons like this that feel like people just pull things out of thin air and everyone just likes and agrees with it. Personally, in my opinion, the best headcanons are those that not only make sense with the character but also have a tiny bit of evidence that supports it. Like my headcanon that Hagakure trains with Ojiro in martial arts. It not only makes sense with her character as she would need something like this to make herself more viable as a hero, but it also has a little bit of evidence. In Season 5 during the joint training battles between classes A and B, there’s a scene where Hagakure beats the crap out of Comicman. That is one of my personal favorite headcanons because it makes sense and it doesn't call into question why it would exist.

I thought Mashle was a sort of dumb fun, uninteresting show that wasn’t worth my time. I’m interested in sitting down and watching it now that I’ve actually seen footage and heard what the story is like.

I'll never stop pirating sites till there's only one place to get all anime, affordable has an actual usable interface, most pirating sites ui is miles better than all anime streaming servers, crunchyrolls is awful and now a complete rip off, used to have crunchyroll for years now it's simply just not worth the money, hidive doesn't have anywhere near enough anime to be worth the money, hull no point going near and Netflix gets more expensive every few months and isn't actually anime only, until that never coming day, pirating will always be the best option

I personally don’t think it’s perfect from what I understand it’s based on the assumption that you’ve read the manga or seen the 2003 show so you do feel a bit lost in the beginning if you haven’t (I had to look up if fmab was a sequel to the original) but even not holding that against it I found myself uninterested until mustang kills lust and I know it’s not to far into the show but I wouldn’t have given any other show that much time to hook me I only did for this because of the praise it receives that being said still a good 8.5-9 to me

I'd say MT is rather.... well I wouldn't say it's _lighter_ in fanservice than anime series usually would be, but it's more sparing when it comes to its use and when it does use it, it's more powerful. Usually when there is the typical "camera licks the character's body" sort of fanservice, it's obviously from some character's POV, like Roxy looking over Elinalise and comparing herself to her and subsequently get depressed for not equalling her charms, or Rudeus eyeing up various female characters. And in general the series' approach to sex and sexuality seems more mature than most anime. If anything, the anime is tamer when it comes to fanservice than the books. Eris didn't sniff Rudeus' underwear when they were adventuring, Elinalise's antics with Rudeus weren't shown, we only get one of Rudeus' nights with Sylphie in the house (but it did go further than the book in that scene), etc.

Liked the ending of ch 430 before 431 but ofc hori had to make a epilogue where he proves that deku is his with his friends and got uravity even tho deku stated to be with his friends, Bcs the illiterate ppl would just lie and some dumb stuffs anyways mha is one of the best new gen anime

Subs are better than the dub there's only one bad dub and that was the dreaming boy is a realist it only took the first episode to find out it's that bad and I didn't even watch the whole episode to know it was bad

I loved the original ending, and loved this one even better! It clears up a lot of things and adds much-needed context that Chapter 430 was in dire need of.

I love how these types of videos popped up after 431 dropped. As a Deku fan, August 2024 was the darkest time to be one.

14:00 There used to be a handful of idiots saying "Sky Island should be filler, skip it", but it was never more than a handful. Now it's more of an urban legend than an actual thing. There are still people who do say it's bad (don't agree, though the second arc does have glaring pacing issues even in the manga). The main problem it has is location: Alabasta is better, same as the following saga, so no matter which side you look at it from, the comparison only makes it look worse than what it is.

Same as Chibi Buggy, and the reason for Fullbody and Jango to be working together and being best buds now (that the anime did not adapt), is shown by Oda in his "cover stories", that move one panel (with no dialogue, but a little description of what's going on) per manga chapter, in the cover of the chapter. The anime adapts a handful of them, but they skipped way too many, leading to people wondering "WTF is going on, here?" when stuff like Jango and Fullbody together, in the Grand Line, Jango as a Marine, and Fullbody demoted. L for Toei

East blue not having dfs was a planned choice since it’s the weakest sea, the giveaway that most people over there think of them as myths adds to that, also it’s known to be a symbol of peace which adds to the idea

It shares some similarities to Black Clover with magic being what defines a person. It sounds interesting, I'll have to watch it sometime.
