Thank you, it’s amazing how each big storm system has a very different look at and feel. The foam created by the wind and waves from this storm were unlike anything Innhave seen in the bay before.

Winter this year was a really mixed bag, so far March has delivered some solid swell with off shore winds. let's hope it continues.

Thank you, its a pretty stunning location to film in with any lighting conditions. A low winter sun with off shore winds, for me is when this stretch of coast line is at its most dramatic.

I usually use a Metabones adaptor with the GH5, so I can run Canon prime lenses. The 24 & 35mm are my two main options. I love that quality of image from those really basic lenses.

Thanks for your feedback, its always a tough call in the edit to balance a natural soundscape with music.I spend so much time in ocean listening to the sound wind and waves, I always try and incorporate that into my films. In the future i will try a few edits with just natural sounds.

Thank you, usually when I’m filming on land I use the Panasonic GH5 with a Metabones adaptor and Canon lenses. I sometimes use a Black Magic 4K cinema camera The global shutter on this camera gives a really film like look. For in water filming I use GoPro’s. The conditions during this storm were so horrendous that filmed almost entirely with a GoPro’s.

Thank you, it was pretty tough storm to film, it was worth the effort to capture these sequences.

I got down at around 8.15am, at that point the wind and swell were not that powerful. At around 9 ish the wind and swell piked up dramatically. I was filming between 8.30 and 10.00

I’ve photographed and filmed allot of storms over the years, I think this morning was the wettest and coldest I’ve been. I should have just put a wetsuit on.

Thanks, for me its the dreamy left pealing at 0.20 is the shot of the film. I had a cold so wasn't able to surf that day, it was great to come away with this footage.

Devon is stunning through out the year. As a filmmaker and surfer the Autumn is my favourite season. For me Dartmoor looks at at its best in the winter with just a light dusting of snow, these are the conditions we have at the moment. If you get the chance head over.

Thank you, It feels like yet again people have moved on and already forgotten the summer, I don't know how strong the warning signs have to become before people realise that we need a fundamental change of mindset and we need to start addressing the really important issues facing our world.
