Anyways, this is just me reflecting a bit on last year, my creative out put and putting too much pressure on oneself to be artsy and creative even when life simply calls for something else. Hoooonestly, I think at the core of this is also the meaning of creativity and art when you make them your job and how your relationship to that changes. When I refer to 'personal art' I most often mean personal paintings/illustrations BUT for me it's noticable that the more I need to do that for work the more I feel drawn to other ways of creative expression. Anyways, anyways. Maybe a topic for some other time.
Oh yeah and you can watch me work on my last (and only 2nd) personal artwork of the year. Might be interesting for those of you wondering how much of my art is traditional vs digital and of course if you're looking into ummm hybrid techniques as well.
