I have a passport size sterling ink common planner that I wasn’t sure what to do with and now I’m thinking it would be perfect for a language journal. Small enough to get me to be consistent without being too much pressure. Thanks for the inspo! :)

Another wonderful video! As someone also learning Mandarin Chinese, I use a Hobonichi Weeks as my language learning journal. I use the horizontal weekly layout to journal a little bit every day (so it's less intimidating and easy to do at least a little) on the left, and write out my goals for the week and reflection on how it went on the right! I also use a few Kokuyo Campus notebooks for my actual notes, including one dedicated just to vocabulary I get from my tutor or from youtube videos or podcasts or chatting with my friends, and another dedicated to writing out example sentences and grammar rules and extrapolating on that vocab! It's great to see how you do everything though, and super inspirational!

8:50 this is actually my planner of choice this year! The A5 size- I find it perfect for both journaling and planning, I’m not hugely busy so I journal more than plan innit. I love it a lot.

Been using travelers notebooks years ago…..just returned to themYOu can make them whatever you like! I bullet journal in one….daily….one for journaling….one for finances……it gets it all done! Found out I never needed all of those expensive “layout” in those other journals! Heavy, expensive and not needed! Good luck!
