    Reading some of the comments about BOV's being bad for Saab's... i have a 2001 9-5 2.0lt , and have just bought a BOV but have not installed it yet, after reading some of the comments have i wasted my money...??

    Hey, did you just sandwich the oil cooler lines between the A/C condenser and the fmic? Also, Did you install some kind of hardware to hold the fmic in place? If possible to explain I’d appreciate it. I’m having issues installing my own in my 95

    2.3 engines are so easier than the 2.6 to change the thermostat you have to take out the exhaust the battery the heat shields

    The vacuum line clips into the holder on the side of the induction pipe, that should stop it coming off

    Holy shit, I just gotta give a thank you for this video. You basically saved my ass from throwing these green rollies sky high across the parking lot. Spent a good 4 hours in the dark with a head lamp doing this job and troubleshooting why these Rollie’s kept falling off even when I thought they were clicked in. If not for your video I wouldn’t have known to go for the extra click or the other details you mentioned. Now the Rollie’s are working great. Excellent video 👍

    There's a hole on thermostat. Saab demands the hole is placed on the top. Other than that being left out. Video is mint.

      I put it the „hole“ on 10 o clock, because 12 was not possible. Will it be ok??

      Tune, and a program called Open SID

      @@CardboardSliver No tune required. Select open Sid option in T7 Suite. There is no program out there called open Sid. If you don't know, don't write comment at all.

    You put the fender flares too low. The cut of the outer fender should be level with the ceiling of the inner fender well. This way it makes room for large tires & lowering especially if you are planning on running a 315 on the rear.

      Dontae Clifton-fletcher the 3.0 isn’t a very good tuning engine sir. Not much anywhere with info on tuning that motor. You’d think it’d be similar to the 2.8 but it’s not. The 2.8 is a beast little engine. The 3.0 is just blah.

    I would add to clean the seal gasket areas up good and use a non curing sealer like Hylomar on the hoses and gasket area, as they tend to leak if not pretty clean. and Never Sieze on the bolts.

      kirb Martin No, not diverter valves. Only blow-off valves; which are pretty bad for Saabs.

      Pod filter in place of the stock airbox will give you that noise.

      I installed this diverter(in the stock configuration and green spring) and I get a very healthy HAWOOOOoooshhhh when I left off after stomping the accelerator hard. I also have an open cone filter attached right onto the MAF.

      Jorge Lewis Usually when your car doesn't get up to temperature (generally half way on the guage) my 9-5 stayed at 1/4 to the lower level on the guage. Swapped it out and hey presto it's fixed.

    What are the dimensions of the comb of cooler? I am not sure if 600mm length will fit.
