I’ve been really enjoying playing along. Don’t worry about being ‘boring’. I just play with you in the background following along so I have a set of tasks to do rather than being bored by the game being too open.

Hogs and Spitters won’t attack you while you are in a vehicle. Once you get out, you are fair game. The cave you fell into from the water fall actually contains two quartz nodes. 1:49:11 I don’t believe all your belts at the upper plant are running at 120. If you look at the belt on the side of the screen, you can see a space between each piece. That means you still have a tier 1 belt in your line. As your coal generators need 22.5, the two end ones will starve. Can’t use the fuel? I would take it and dump it into a fuel generator to supplement your power. At 100% they generate 125MW and consume 12 m3 of fuel per minute. Your Explorer has cargo in the back so you don’t have to carry everything that you want to bring with you in your inventory. And you can carry extra fuel for it.

With the hatchers, if you shoot them at a distance and the bees don’t aggro onto you, I seem to remember that they will despawn after about a minute. In the cave there are a few interesting things. Three lizard doggos (Larry, Mo and Curly), parts from a crashed pod, but no hard drive, slugs, and spiders.

Probably late but sticking a cargo container between your ref and sk would allow the sk to process stone. you have no way to push material from rover cockpit to the rover CC because you didn't make one. Also just putting a piston on the side of the rovers CC would've made things a whole lot easier building those wheels :) But good play! Moving on to EP2 and subbing!

Cranked my laptop to the absolute max and I can just barely hear you over my fan. And that is with a device that can totally blast my neighbors out of their beds if I was to use this kind of volume with other content.

i bought this game thanks to SovietWomble and haven't played in a long while up until a few days ago and do not know how to build basic things

You could consider putting one of your tickets into the Sink… Also, if you have a lot of DNA capsules, you can put them in the Sink for a large boost of tickets. You get a lot of progress for the first dozen or two capsules. Arachnophobia mode will replace the spiders with flat pictures of cats. Orange cat for the small ones, black cat for the alpha spiders. Down in the pit under the arch is a SAM ore node I believe. Compacted Coal and Turbo Fuel were the most desired hard drive recipes, next to Cast Screws. The developers listened to the cries of the players and instead made them MAM researchable, but they still require the hard drive.

Quick follow up. This run has turned out to be my bread and butter. With 3.24 fast approaching, this mission will change quite a bit, so I set my self a target of 100 complete suits of gear. I hit it and increased the goal. Long story short. I have passed 300 full suits of gear and started selling in bulk in SCU boxes. Its not like salvaging or doing ERT bounties but it is far safer and quite enjoyable and so far this week I have made 180k just running this once a day. I will not stop once 3.24 comes out I will just clear then tractor the bodies to my cutlass red and have a few SCU boxes handy. Thanks again for sharing this!!

I never started with a mess like that thanks to a video that showed how to organize things from the start. I dont see the logic of a tutorial video that starts out to demonstrate how people who havent seen a video would be building because obviously people viewing tutorial videos are looking to get better and be more organized. Otherwise, you explain things well.

I try to keep either a medical inhaler or, early game, 10 berries on me so I can regain some health if I really need it. I haven’t seen you eat any of the berries, nuts or mushrooms in game yet, so I hope you are aware they are edible.

Does the Trespass area time limit reset if you leave the area and re-enter?

i ahve been using these exact sticks for a while and just found the idea of making a paint doc and using it for my keybinds as ingenious. If you dont play for hours every day thats a great tip! I also didnt know there were preloaded setting for the sticks, binding them all separate is still better

Despite my previous comment that you don’t want to put your splitter/merger too close to your buildings, you can stick a splitter/merger right on the end of a conveyor lift. In the case of splitters, you’ll want to make sure that you rotate it so that your input is pointing to where you want the materials to come from. When dismantling something like a ramp, you can hold left control and select multiple things to disassemble. I believe that you can also use zoop to place your ramps. Three water pumps and 120 coal/m will run eight coal generators perfectly. You do have to pump the water into two ends of the pipe rather than joining them into one since pipelines will only carry 300 m3 and you need 360 m3.

Wait?! What?! You shouldn’t have been able to put a miner on that caterium node. You can elevate a belt support by looking up after you click once to anchor the belt. There are three possible heights I believe. Don’t forget to check your hard drive research. They are changing the way that works in 1.0 slightly as well to make it slightly less random.

Thanks for the content. New players be aware, Deymar is full of pirates. So, you should load up your ROC somewhere quiet, then go to either Magdar, Deymar or Aberdine but avoid any mining facilities on those planets.

Flush dumps everything out of the pipe segment or the whole fluid network. It doesn’t dump the buffer into the pipes, it voids the liquid. A very interesting choice to grab the coal from there and bring it to that particular lake. There is another location that is further from your base location which is more popular for a power station. Your water pump is going to continue to cycle because you are making more water than you are using. It will fill the pipes and then shut down until it needs to start filling the pipes again.

You might want to look at the concrete foundation under Customization. By using them, I believe your foundations will only cost concrete, not iron plates. Admittedly, they do look much plainer than the normal foundation.

While it might look nice to have splitters, mergers and machines really close to each other, it’s generally better to give yourself a bit of space between them. If you ever want to upgrade the belt, you need to be able to target the belt which can be difficult if things are too close. Your biomass burners were showing as being obstructed because the building takes the full size of a foundation, even though the model does not, and the wall was intruding into the space.

The chainsaw can be used to clear bushes and, incidentally, small rocks that you can’t actually interact with until you have explosives. My preference tends to be an elevated platform so I can build out without having to worry about the variances in the terrain. You might be better rewarded to visit the more northern caterium deposit that your scanner showed you, but you didn’t mark.

My heart hurt watching you gather all that ice individually instead of using a shovel.

Is it possible to get VAC-Banned from that ?

Just in case you (and anyone watching this) haven't realized it yet, the reason the button did work on that Unknown Signal pod is that the top button on that model is a decoy and the real button is on the bottom. The green indicator text almost always marks the real button on those pods.

Late, but a few more handy tips: - If you hold I, it will bring up the 'newer' inventory, which makes swapping ammo types much easier. - LAlt+1 lets you repool your ammo, meaning if you have spare ammo in your inventory, it will redistrobute it with your magazine pools. You are slower while doing this and cannot immediately fire, but if you have some downtime, it means you can more reliably reload. - This just happened to me while doing an exterior mission for funsies: if you do inccur an L2/L1 injury, loot a body. If you are lucky, they'll have the other vials you an use to treat your injuries on the spot, in case you didn't bring a medgun. "But which ones do I need to use?" Check your MobGlass and the health tab. They will tell you what ailment you have related to an injury, and the item descriptions all mention which symptoms are treated by that pen. - Alternatively, you can use the med bed to also administer the drugs, even if it cannot cure L2/L1 injuries. - Also only able to be done right now: the loot crates/boxes all over the place can be put into your local inventory! Not only are they able to hold items in themselves, but you can carry the small ones in your hands. Even more free decor for 3.24!

Apparently this mission is now bugged... the mission equipment does NOT appear on the drop pod any more. If this is an indication on how well this game is put together, I doubt it will be staying installed on my PC. Complete waste of time.

I was sort of hoping that you’d put the O2/H2 generator between the assembler and the survival kit so you could also recharge your O2/H2 while you were healing/recharging energy. As long as you have a ship to sit in though, I guess it doesn’t matter that much. If this is your FOB, will you be building a sealed habitat here or saving that for your eventual space station/battlestar/asteroid eater?

Y tardas mas de 1h. no cuenta el tiempo que tardas en trasladarte de la estacion espacial a Sakura. Ni tampoco tiene en cuenta que si otro jugador acepta la mision antes que tu tendras que esperar a que la termine para que reaparezca y poder hacerla tu. Es una buena forma de ganar dinero si estas empezando pero ganar 500k de esa manera incluso vendiendo el equipo de los enemigos no te lleva 1h, te lleva 6 o 7. Y sin morir a manos de los enemigos ni por errores de server o lag. Asique si quereis ganar dinero rapido vended drogas, si drogas, aceptad misiones clandestinas y revisad los laboratorios en busca de drogas. Yerba, crack entre otras se pagan desde 11k a 90k la unidad... ahi lo dejo

I find the log fork to finicky, I'd like to be able to just put the fork over the logs and grab but then i still just get one.

Don't wait there for the storm to pass or you'll get hit quite a lot. Fly to a lower altitude somewhere below the tower and come back when the storm has passed as the lightning strikes the higher point (tower) and no the lower one (balloon).

Lighting in this game is a little weird sometimes. I can be deep in a cave and suddenly the sun shines through, illuminating the whole thing. Which it shouldn’t be able to do since… I’m in a cave. For your solar array, you’ll likely want to watch how the sun moves around your asteroid base and then stretch out an arm in a direction for the maximum sun which is obscured by the fewest things. Some of the newer quality of life blocks are nice for solar arrays now since before you had to set up programmable blocks and run scripts to make it follow the sun.

Watched most of your playlist and enjoyed it. I just wish your voice was a bit louder as it's hard to hear what you're even saying.

Boring." 😂 I think I'll just do contracts to make extra money while crops grow. Btw, this is the best starting guide I've found so far. Very thorough. Some good tips as well as what not to do.

Great video. I wanted to point out that turning off the inertial dampeners will maintain your speed when in space, the key is "z". With that, there is no need for turning off foward thrusters manually. Inertial dampeners is what causes, when you release acceleration, for thrusters to fire and slow you down to 0. Turning that off will let you maintain speed in space and conserve fuel without having to do anything manually. o7

While there is some degree of pleasure watching you flounder and crash, ultimately the game has to be fun for you. If you are only getting frustrated about having to do mining for an hour just to get the materials you lost on a crash, it’s always better to reload your save.
