This wasn't my favorite ZSL map. Everything discussed in comment applies to my experience with the map as well. It took me until actually competing before I found out the flags were intangible. I didn't find the wood plank tunnel until the event. I never figured out how to use the scaffold/booster. For the competition I went the same path as Owl, but I think my best run was probably 47-48 and not close to AT.

I think you're complaints that the map is too "learny" is a bit misplaced. It took be about 5 tries to finish with a bronze and once more to get silver. I'd say the real problem is that this is basically two maps in one: the normal route and the expert route. And playing the normal route doesn't help with learning the expert route. So while I got silver quite easily. To get the rest, I'd have to learn essentially a new map.

Hmm just from watching I feel like the tunnel should be faster. Your entry wasn't particularly smooth when Sandals did his comparison and it doesn't feel like it's much more (if any) distance.

I feel like I’ve seen this before…not a huge fan of maze maps, but this one at least looks nice.

When I played this map, the turn before CP1 and 2 was causing me a speed check. When I finally figured it out though, it was really smooth. Owl, I'm curious what your graphics settings are. This looks lighted better than when I was playing it. I wonder how much that is hurting me.

Fred's future mod will involve rolling a D20 to determine how much traction you have. I don't know how it would work entirely but a nat 1 gives you soap wheels for a run.

just in case people aren't aware... maple hill disc golf course is widely considered the best course in the world, and has been voted the best multiple times!

I love this map. A slow moving find the smooth path on a map with out any bright flashy things to distract you but it's lit enough to clearly see the whole thing. Absolutely amazing.

Despite the fact I started this series about when this video came out, I haven't added any more tracks to it. I really need to make more of these spalshdown tracks.

This was an unexpected mash up of two of my favorite things.

The real course has a couple different layouts. The pros normally play the longer layout which is roughly what you race. I just kind of loosely made it resemble the real course!

Lighter doesn't mean leader, lighter is an object that sets things on fire like say a grill or a candle or brush.

Were the boosters what was making the course so random then? High power booser randomness wrecking what looked like a great run or turning a bad one decent? Something looked off on that track. I thought it might be other fans like the one after the CP2 jump shoving you around, but I didn't see the fan particles.

Ohh this map makes me want to dust off the game and try it.

I started watching Kick or Clutch around ep. 750, decided to go all the way back and start from the beginning (it's going to be a WHILE before I get back to the modern 1000 -something episodes)

Interesting that owl released this video almost 2 and 1/2 months early.

I can confirm that it is weird for me to like this track.

First track on the channel, and I am glad that it was a clutch, because about 3 days of work was put into it, and it would've been a shame if it was kicked. I do want to mention though that I did not update the track, until around mid-October, so the updated version showed at the end was actually a previous version that I updated to the one shown in the koc recording.

This kick was a wake-up call for me, which made me realize that not all of my track would be bangers.

This was my 2nd track I ever made, and I will say I did not do half bad! I do wish this did come out at around Halloween though...

I am a cheesehead, and I just had to eventually stereotype my whole state in a track eventually.

I want to mention that owl forgot to do the afk, because there was indeed and afk, and a pretty one to say the least that owl did not do. :C

I can finally comment on videos! And the first one is that I will say, that I am a sucker for golf-themed levels, and I will not say this level was bad at all!

I'm excited to try this one out!
