I think I made this track without mods or file editing 🤔 So it took (iirc) 3 months to make it Yeah the cave is hard, my building and driving skills weren't as good as right now (fortunately 😂), so I never had problems with the cave at the time. Glad that you like this map 😊 And thx for the review 😄

Neat idea, but it never really works all that well. Rourie always brings STRANGE, which is a good thing. All kinds of interesting ideas can be had, even if a map doesn't actually work all that well.

A KoC classic edition would be a cool bonus! Maybe add 1 map/session that’s like this, sanatori, older big maps and see how they hold up to current public lobbies!

I played this outside of KoC recently. Did not enjoy the second half tbh. Cave issues too and no good feel for the steering limiter keys for the end or tapping frequency (kb), smoking way too much. Amazed you took that so fast that first run.

While I don't like this style either, it's definitely the sort of map that would benefit from just going into spectate and trying to plan out a route first instead of trying to brute force it.

I feel like you are more likely to find speed in a ball rather than a cube.

That run you had at ~4:00 looks like it would have been good if you had gone higher on the wall and turned in to the finish. There's a thread the needle thing you need to do to go in clean without hitting the track

If this map isnt blue and white im gonna be disappointed Edit: not blue and white but the azorius signet is a plus as well as the deco for ravnica is spectacular

I expect to see Rakdos, Gruul, Selesnya, Orvhov, Izzet, Golgari, Boros, and Simia maps now.

I live next to a playground with this design

Does Fred own the thing where you can fill a banana with like chocolate or peanut butter etc? (I hear they're terrible) maybe it's just cause my eyesight is getting worse, but I found the red playground parts looked too similar to the ribbon and made it look a bit "busy". Maybe a different red color or making the poles that playground blue color. I see it's based off an IRL park though so it may have been red because that's how it is there.

she/her* '''''technically''''' my first map was Brake Check, but that's more of a 0.5th map since you press 3 buttons and don't have to look. Red Ribbon is my first proper map with a route and decoration and all the such. There's a playground I pass occasionally on bike rides and I thought it looked really neat, and I immediately imagined driving through it on a ribbon in Zeepkist, so I made it happen.Glad y'all liked the map, despite the bit of learny difficulty. I tried testing all-first-person and I thought it was worse, both gameplay-wise and aesthetically, and making it optional was too complicated. Also, I didn't intend for there to be any speed checks tbh, as I thought those sections were relatively easy to keep speed in (mapper blindness I suppose). I learned a lot about the limitations and options in the Zeepkist builder from this. I've got something new (very slowly) in the works, so I hope I can improve on my ability.
