why is this only asch dieing? hes so hot!

I firmly believe that Luke is the man that returns in the end. Many hints in the game and the symbolism of the ending only seem to point more and more in the direction of Luke's return. I love this game, and I love how open the ending was, and I believe this game is highly underrated and underappreciated.

Just without all the theories behind replicas and all that... I think it was Luke because Tear started breaking down crying and Natalia was like, "oh that's nice." If it was Asch she'd be the one running out crying.

i keep telling myself i'll choose another Character for that scene, i build up the relationships so Kratos isnt the first one that calls to Lloyd in Flanor. i try so hard not to Kill Zelos. then i reach that one screen ' Go out side and talk to Kratos "Yes/No" ' i. just. cant. stop. choosing. yes.

Its quite clearly luke's brain and consciousness in asche's body. Asche's consciousness died already, it would be wrong to bring someone back who has accepted death. Luke also made a promise that he would return asche never seemed to keep any promises throughout the story. Also why does asche give a fuck about tataroo valley?

@Wulfichan Yeah, that's kinda how it was for me too, I mean, if they had the same hairstyle, they'd look FREAKISHLY the same!!! It wasn't really much of a shock when Yuan revealed the truth, I mean Kratos is way too nice to Lloyd compared to the others, is always watching his back even when he's on the bad side, and if you look closely there are WAY too many similarities and stuff for it to just be coincidence....Oyako ftw. in my opinion bandai/namco made a brilliant work, creating two charcters capable of captive people making things like "asch team" and "luke team", because that this ambiguos ending... if you luke team dosnt matter what the people tell you, you ever will say "ITS FUCKING LUKE YOUR IDIOT!" if you are more "asch people" you will say he was asch in my case i totally captived for luke & tear for that i ever - doesnt matterwhat people tell me - SAY ITS FUCKING LUKE BITCHES, HES COME BACK!

@Erichanglic No, Kratos didn't do that, and Anna was like in her twenties. SPOILER: Kratos is actually a thousand years old because him, Yuan, and Mithos can't age due to cruxis crystals(I think, it's been while since I've played it)

@ManuelTFox Or she just needs a spell, attack, start the casting animation, guard, then attack again really fast because that's what spell canceling is.

Kratos is like "I'mma go ahead and sit here.. Take a nap probably.."

@ehohnke She needs Spell Saving, where she can save a spell till she attacks.

I thought you were screwed when they cast Meteor Storm, but then Raine used Revitalize and you got revenge with Light Spear Cannon and Falcon's Crest on all of them. Epic.

Where's para ball, probably the best ability in the game? Spell canceling? Those are basically the only two things Colette needs to be amazing.

@nevrest hmmm. perhaps it's the Unorthodox yet brilliantly designed villain who isn't really bad? i mean he doesn't want destruction, he wants to end discrimination. quite a noble goal for a villain. especially since he isn't some criminal mastermind, but a child scared of losing his sister. perhaps it was all the extra's? perhaps it was wonderful character development? or perhaps it was because of Motoi Sakuraba's awesome music composition? or maybe a combination of all these.

dude didn't you have Gaurdian during this fight? I think that would've helped a ton with he did those combos on you. I know this video is ancient lol

How could you hate emil? Emil is what everyone used to be. that shy new kid in town. And ratatosk is basically what you become when you change your "image." But everyone is entitled to their opinion. I personally think of emil as my second fav tales character. Asch being my first because thats how i usually am. Plus hes kinda luke but uses magic.
