Training videos for Amazon delivery drivers. While primarily for Amazon DSP drivers, many of these training videos are applicable for Amazon Flex drivers too.
I am a trainer and delivery driver for an Amazon DSP in Colorado. I deliver on most days that I am not training.
I have been an Amazon delivery driver since October, 2019 and just went through my third Peak season in 2021.

Peak Season Loadout at Amazon
It's the Monday before Christmas and Amazon delivery drivers are loading their vans with packages. Most of the loads are heavier during peak season than any other time of year. Drivers must organize their vans so packages are easy to find. Each driver organizes their delivery vans differently, and this video shows how many do it during the busiest time of year.
At our station the drivers have only about 14 minutes to load their van after pulling in. This adds an extra element to organizing their van while under time pressure to finish quickly. You will see dispatchers and drivers help each other to load, which makes it possible to get everyone out on time.

Correct Way to Contact a Customer using Amazon Flex
มุมมอง 17K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Amazon delivery drivers sometimes have to contact a customer to get help delivering their package. Drivers should only contact customers when they would otherwise be unable to deliver the package. Amazon wants drivers to use the Unable to Deliver menu and choose a reason, such as Access problem or No Safe Place to Leave Package. When a choice is made, a pop-up window appears with the option to ...
Navigating With Amazon Flex
มุมมอง 17K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Amazon Flex is the app that helps Amazon delivery drivers navigate their route and deliver packages. A key part of Flex is the GPS navigation to your next stop. If you follow the directions using the shortest distance to your next stop you will have fewer U-turns as you go through your day because the computer built your route knowing what the shortest distance to the next stop is and ordered y...

3 Stops in 4 Minutes with an Amazon Delivery Driver

Alex shows a bit of what it is like to be an Amazon delivery driver. This is not an official Amazon training video. It is simply a demonstration of what a driver does from the inside of a delivery van. This was filmed in March, 2020 before Amazon had defined rules about mask wearing while delivering.
Amazon Delivery Van Load Out with 19 Bags
มุมมอง 306K3 ปีที่แล้ว
How to load 19 bags into your Amazon Prime Delivery van and have lots of room left. If you are an Amazon Delivery Driver you will want to learn how other drivers organize and load their Amazon van to make their day go a lot easier.
How come they are not wearing seat belts??😮
That's what I need to do. Be the yeller instead of the yellee. Put my feet up on the desk. Picking up the phone. "John, I saw you taking 2-3 minutes strolling around that apartment complex, get it in gear!" Johnny says, "it's hot out here". I respond, "I ain't asking for a weather report!".
I want to know why somebody was stopped for 47 minutes! Call them. Do some yelling.
Kick that giy off your van hes a problem
This only works if you don't have a lot of overflow. I had 19 bags and 47 overflow last week. I double stack the top shelf one bag on top of the other all the way down then i have a little more room for overflow. Amazon need to stop adding so much overflow and so many large boxes. The back of the van is always a mess
.6 seconds is not even enough time to even visually see the vehicle in front of you before something happens. I would say it would be at least a solid six seconds behind a vehicle in front of you as that is generally the trucking standard is between 6 and seven seconds following distance.
Today i had 18 bags and 44 overflow in a regular van like this, imo DPS' need to have better managaing of loading sizes for their vans. Because 184 stops with 353 packages is overworking your employees, the load size for a regular van is my biggest issue with this job atm
This is such an amazing video. So amazing to watch. Thank You so very much for sharing. I appreciate all what those driver’s do.
If they would only ring the bell.
I could squeeze way more than that into a FedEx van 🤣🤣🤣
I hope he still at it. Busted out them dollars
Bro got immaculate music taste
damn can i get one of those routes lol.
I've squeezed more than this in my DSP's Chevy Express rental, fun times 😂.
I had 20 bags & 29 overflow the other day. That was about four carts to load up.
In a regular van like this?
He doesnt need a ride along he is moving effortlessly.. 💪🏾
I may not get answers to an obvious question I'm pretty sure you take a drug test prior to hiring thats standard policy, what like to know what type of drug test is taken. Regular U/A or Hair Folical Test. Thanks and if anyone has an answer to my question I would really appreciate your reply Thxs Sincerely from ELP TX 🇨🇱 🤠
u just piss in the jar bro
@@stormborn673 10-4 thx 4/ur reply GBU sincerely from ELP TX 🇨🇱🤠
Woah, this is very useful! It can keep tabs and watch or monitor employees. You can see if someone is slacking off
He’s good…don’t hassle him or anyone that’s doing a good job..as in micro manage…and tell these guys that they’re appreciated…without them your business would not go…
Amazon delivery is a very popular job these days. Looks very exciting..
There's no way this is his first day and the pace he's going he will tired within 4 hours
I have high respect for this man!!! F naysayers keep doing it and save money to get cdl or better job. I believe in this man energy !!!
Outside Amazon locker, gl finding one of those in 2024 We can't even find a President.
Fuck Amazon
i worked for "amazon" near a year and its damn near extortion.
Listen to the guy in the back. Keep your useless mask on when you’re out in the open air since Covid is sooooo dangerous. I’d be like you open your mouth one more time and you can walk home. I would never wear a silly mask. I’ve been a Nurse for 24 years and I laugh at people wearing silly, useless masks. If I wasn’t paid 50 dollars an hour I’d never do that crap. Some sick democrat in the back telling me how to do my job. A lot of work for nothing.
Who are you to tell them to wear or not wear a mask. It's not up to you is it?
Poor guy can hardly breathe w that damn mask.
To make it easier for myself I scan all the bags or carts before anything goes inside of Van because once you scan you dont have to worry about it if someone helps you load vehicle
Technically 16 bags
Weakest of all foos
I have a question =all zipped box are different sectors of deliverys?
In my company we cant leave can running anymore Sucks kills the whole bluetooth vibe
Our station just lifted the EOC. I’m so glad
Once it gets hot hopefully we can
Never a seat belt! But watch the footing on snow! 😂🤣
I was an amazon driver .... why is he not belted? We had to belt up and they yelled at us if we didnt shut the engine off everytime and riding along with the side door open
This is creepy
Seatbelt? What is policy on wearing during deliveries?
I don’t scan bags at all lol don’t need to. Just load up.
Alot violations misleading video
I noticed he didnt fully stop at a stop sign, minor violations, not turning off vechile, no seat belt, leaving van door open and van running, no need to run needs tonpace him self,
Piss easy route. Everything is flat, short walk to the door, hardly any stairs to climb, plenty of room to drive and park on these streets. My old route was bumpy brick roads with constant traffic piling up behind me, mountains to climb to get to the front door, and narrow 1 way roads you with no turnaround. And if that van was netradyne-equipped he'd have been busted for like 20 different violations several times lol.
is this route in colorado maybe boulder or loveland area ? looks familiar
Hesnot suppose to leave the car running
So people just bring those cars of boxes to you guys, how do you know if it's yours or the other person's? Looks confusing 😮
Lol I wish I got 136. We're lucky at my DSP if we only get 180
Wow no dogs 🐕 that’s crazy
I just started a week ago and have had 300 packages. I did this with 12 totes. 18-28 packages in each one and 30 overflow. It helped tons.
As a current driver for Amazon I am truly JEALOUS of how much freedom you had without that damn camera. You look so much more efficient lmao
does every place have cameras now?
@@zilla2493 not too sure, there are a few cans at my station that don’t have them but most do here
You not lying this how we did it in 2018 2019 always knocked out stops faster without crossing the seatbelt over your body
Just did my first week. I have no idea how any of you finish 150+ stops so efficiently. I work at a regular pace and get done around 9:00. Love the freedom but If they paid more it would make it worth the 0 practical experience and physical tole. wish me luck at my new job 😁
So I am about to start doing delivering and I am wondering about the driving rules. Like am I supposed to put my seatbelt on every time? Like 300 plus times a day? Or are they lenient like this?
I’m currently a delivery driver for Amazon. This was before Amazon installed the cameras in their vans. Seatbelt is a must. If the camera doesn’t see the seatbelt, you will get flagged. It’s also tracked through the mentor app.
just buckle it up behind your back and put it on you every time
They have a system that reads how many times you buckle and unbuckle your seatbelt. It has to be done as many stops as you have in the day. There is no way around it.
@@danielkrivanec5156 that’s cringe, luckily i don’t drive amazon branded vans, just the regular white ones and haven’t got in trouble yet
That's cool. good for you. We are driving electric vans here and they are way different. Everything is changing
She neefd 45 dollars an hour
Lol easy route no overflow🤡🤡🤡
