My goal was get one of the elders hair, than, after this, things got way easier because I'm not worried about it anymore. I can enjoy the game much better

Only reason I am quitting is I have no friends

Well sometimes its ok to take a break. Sky can become a bit boring sometimes sometimes so its best to take a break. Coming back a lot later would be able to bring a fresh start cause sky is always having new things.

Interesting perspective as a person who's new to the game. I only have been playing it for 3 months and I don't see myself getting bored yet then again I don't have friends in it and I haven't collected all the collectibles so

i have been play sky for 2 years and sitll play it,, but my friends quite the game and i feel lonely

I remember when I started playing sky when the season of assembly just started and a place needs three players to continue it and that time I’m still a moth and then I met another moth and we wait a long time but no one came and I needs to go so I added him but after that day he was never online again T^T and most of my old friends probably already quit and it also made me harder to get hearts bc there not a lot of friends online to lit each other and my fav friend were busy but a least she didn’t quit I think

I started playing sky back in 2017 when i got my first iphone and then within months i stopped playing because i just had one friend and that friend wouldn't be online. I also got tired of the whole loop thing and yk how you had to find spirits but it doesn't tell you where they are i like gave up on trying to find them. But then when the game was kind fully created and more people started playing I was like i miss those old days... i might as well play. I downloaded the game and here we are now in 2022 again. I play sky every day :)

How long will the keep the veterans waiting for something I literally have nothing to do maybe add a sword do something that will actually keep the older players interested besides dressing up bro like come on some of us have spent a lot of on this game just to be sold clothes every season the diving mechanic is the best thing to happen to the game ever and just really wish they would focus more on the actual lore and gameplay mechanics because everyone I know that’s played the game for years doesn’t like the tedious monogamous game of always doing candle run add a season in the wasteland where the spirits who fought the darkness and krills and crabs come back and teach us about defending our selves from the darkness come on tgc it’s that ez to get all your vets back in the game Mann I wish we had so much more in this game but sadly we don’t even with all the money poured in we get only clothes and no lore bruh

I play it since 2019 with big breaks and now I missed so many seasons, so much new stuff. Got a switch and play it on my tv that’s a whole new experience witch made me addicted again. Maybe there will be a break again if things get as you said but I will return every time and additional to that I don’t wanna miss so many season again that’s why I keep on playing and don’t wanna let the breaks become so big. It would like a Video with 10 reason why it’s worth to keep on playing for example. Thanks for the Video! <3

Thank you for giving me more reasons to quit sky. I've been on and offline across a range of almost a year, tried unsuccessfully to quit many times. I've had urges to buy candles with real money and did do so. I'm aware of myself sinking deeper into the quicksand of the game, so I'm determined to quit. Glad that I am not alone on this matter.

i only open my sky account when i do candle run because that's all that i have to do in the game and if i finished my daily cr idk what to do there so i just leave and wait for the next candle run🤣

As a veteran player, i quitted sky 4 months ago, the reason why i quit is just sky keeps getting repetitive, every good cosmetics has to be iap, sky forces you to be social but in one way, you need to be cool-looking to get friends, (depends on the player) and one thing, especially candle runs, it's literally stressing me out and it takes 2 hours to full candle run in all realms, it's battery consuming and time consuming,i hate that more events are announced, its not even free, everything has to pay with candles and hearts, especially money, i used to spend alot of money on sky, i was so happy that i have so many cosmetics like they were so special, i felt like a brand new veteran , but now, i don't see what's special to me anymore, i discovered a game named cookie run kingdom 3 months ago, it's a fun game, very addicting,later from that i deleted sky and focused on playing crk, and still playing it right now,it's hard to say but i deleted all the sky pictures i took, it just doesn't make me happy anymore everytime i look at it, i don't even have friends in sky, thanks sky for being the best game in the past, but your company is just getting more repetitive, every single day, everything is the same. (sorry for bad grammar, I'm not really good in English, i apologise.)

Why people stopped doing candle runs: Because they are rich already

I've had sky since the game was first available for preorder in 2019. I took an (unintentional) break and missed the past four seasons, but I don't plan on quitting anytime soon.

i had a friend called Ricky, they were one of the most frequent friend that i would play with in sky, sadly , they started playing less and less. Until they just stopped going online. I'm not really a new or old player, i joined in 2020.

Just like real life… the game allows you to be materialistic, social, quiet/reflective, or helping others. We probably need to keep as many of these in balance or we will burn out of the game. I don’t think the game was meant to be a world you live in for years on end but rather an experience that you turn into actions/decisions that affect your real life.

if you are bored of sky adopt moths, its what i did :) im now a mother of 7 moths.

I play since September 2020 (sanctuary) and my first run was all "OH MY GOD WOW IT'S ALL SO BEAUTIFUL" And I didn't know anything about the game. Then I started watching tutorials online and made some friends on Amino so they could lead me. Honestly yes candle run is pretty boring, but it's also a routine. I have lived my life in the chaos, in unpredictable family's breakdowns, they would throw all their problems on me and now I've been diagnosed with paranoia (yay). So I've always tried to escape reality and videogames and art are my two escapes. Finding Sky has been a blessing, it's a separate world where everything is magical and cool, I have friends just for heart trade, or just for a chat sometimes, and most of the time I'm alone and that's fine. I just enjoy this world and that hour a day is a so peaceful and warming hour. All my problems are gone when I play. The loop sometimes is a safe thing. I wish I could live without the loop, but or is Sky or is some other rituals 💁🏻‍♂️

I wanna forget all my experience of sky so I can relive them again... I wanna play sky more 🥺🥺 - I don't wanna go to job anymore 🥺🥺 God plz make me a kid again 🥺🥺

I'm not even an old sky player and I'm new. But I've been an old player for other games. When looking at the game,all what I see are memories with all my friends that they have stopped to play the game and it's all true... Sadly... :(

I miss the old times so much, it was so peaceful and all were kind now this game has so many new players and they all so competitive and rude they only look for themselves…. It’s like when has this changed like this

Im not a veteran .. im new but isnt this like any other games we play? Idk its just my opinion. Like clash of clans, sims, pubg or anyother game. For me its when you're new to the game you get excited. You wanna grind more to get nice and cool stuff. You waste hours tryna become a pro then when you actually become a pro. Everything else gets boring. There isnt anything for you to do anymore. New game updates doesnt excite you anymore. No matter how interesting it is, you'll feel bored to work hard to get those cool stuff. Idk its just me maybe. I do visit my old games once a while but nothing really makes me want to play 24/7 anymore. Especially those games where you have close friends and they dissapear.

I played sky for three months, I really like the concept of the game and the animations are adorable! But after some time I was getting bored more more aften. I was getting tired of Cr and ecc.. it was becoming kinda a thing you *NEEDED* to do and not something you do for fun. Eden becomed pretty easy, it wasn't even exciting anymore. And yeah traveling spirits! But I didn't have so much interest in them. So yeah that's why I left Sky, but it was really good and I met some friends too! I can't say it was a waste of time because I actually had fun! They were a really splendid three months

The reason I quit Sky almost a year and a half ago was because of how glitchy it was. Anytime I wanted to get spirits it would always stop in the middle. I also had ok WiFi so that wasn’t to blame. I ended up coming back a year later when the game ran more smoothly only to find out I had missed out on several seasons. Also they monetize the heck out of cosmetics and that’s all people “seem” to care about. To me a game should be about the story and the community. Sky has a good community and a good but short story. I know they are a small team but even having short stories you can unlock would be nice as it would be easy and quick to add on to the story of the game. I know the game Destiny takes this a step to far and literally throws it in your face and gives you enough material to read for hours, but maybe little 3 minute stories you could read would be cool. When it comes to getting that 100% completion across everything including the seasonal spirits, you never can unless you pay for the exclusive cosmetics. As a completionist, this bugs me. I know that seasonal spirits eventually come back every 2 weeks but that’s only a theoretical maximum of 26 spirits a year. I love this game, but I’m probably only going to play for the story and the people as the cosmetics are a rip off. If tgc cares about this game, then they should stop putting so much effort into cosmetics that only the try hards can buy, with real and in game currency, and focus more on expanding the story. i don't think i'll ever quit, even though i'm about to reach my 10 month anniversary. candle runs have gotten a bit boring and i don't really do much other than candle run and wait for new content, but at the same time i have a lot of friends on sky i'd like to preserve and there's still content that i'm interested in getting (namely christmas iap cosmetics i missed the first time around, new season passes, and travelling spirit cosmetics). plus, i've already invested a lot of money into this game (like 65 dollars at this point for office cape, rainbow flower, one ap, and some one-off small accessory) so it would be a waste to just stop playing in my opinion. and one final thing that's more personal to me is that sky is the only place i can interact "physically" with my SO for now. she lives almost 3000 miles away from me and sky is the only place we can hug and blow kisses and hold hands and just be near each other, even if it's virtual.
