My Condition: Vasovagal Syncope Update
มุมมอง 3414 ปีที่แล้ว
Vasovagal Syncope has been something I have dealt with all my life. When I was younger it was pretty much on the back burner but as I have gotten older I have become more and more aware of it and making some lifestyle changes because of it. World Mental Health Day
มุมมอง 226 ปีที่แล้ว
Mental Health is invisible to the eye but it is not invisible to us. If you are overwhelmed take the break you need. Never think you are weak. My volleyball coach gave me great advice: " You are there for others but you have to be there for yourself. It is ok to take time off." I am here if you need me. You are stronger than you think: a chat on suicide
I also suffer from this condition. Ever since I was a small child. Im now retired and just to let everyone know it never goes away. At the age of 41 i had a pacemaker implanted it helps to keep your heart beating because your heart can stop. I avoid my triggers as much as possible.

I know how you feel cause I have Vasovagal syncope and it sucks
i haven’t even watched the video yet but let me just say….i have vasovagal syncope and it’s bad. i’ve had it since i was 3. but since i have asthma and severe anxiety it’s bad. however, my condition is so bad that anything triggers me. i’ve passed out so much. even the food i eat goes into play. now, ive watched the video as i’ve written this comment so know i see. also for anyone watching, everything is different and u can see that both of ours are not the same
Hey girl! I’ve been dealing with the same condition for a few years now. Make sure self care is a big part of your regular daily schedule. Always drinking enough water, eating protein nutrients and glucose, and working through triggers in a way that will keep me calm and pumping enough blood have helped me sm. Ur very brave, hope this can help💘
I have it too scared the scared me to death
This made me so emotional. The first time I fainted I was in 2nd grade because we were watching a video and a kid "broke his arm" in the video. I've fainted probably about 20 times and almost fainted too many times to count and it is the scariest thing. It had been a while since it happened to me but yesterday in class we were talking about blood and it happened and I was only out for a few seconds. It just made me feel so hopeless because I thought I was getting better but I had the realization that I can never be cured and there are going to be better times and worse times. One of my friends was in that class and she has seen me faint 3 times so she knew what to do. But I still felt so upset, because it just makes me feel like a burden to disrupt class and everyone knows. In 7th grade I used to bring a huge water bottle everywhere and not be able to leave my house unless I had it, my anxiety was so extreme that I was going to faint. I wish anyone struggling with the same thing the best ❤️
Hi there! So I heard your story. What you go through sounds a lot of what my daughter goes through now. Today she got her blood drawn and looked like she was convulsing and then was moaning, then throwing up. She had to lie down. So hears the thing, my daughter gets frequent stomach aches. We are trying to figure what are causing these stomach pains that cause her pain and she has missed a lot of days of school. Was wondering before yiu were diagnosed did you get frequent stomach aches??? I hear you say triggers so maybe my daughter also has triggers. I will be letting her GI doctor know about this incident in case she wants to look into it. But as you can see, my daughter HAS frequent stomach aches to the point she cries in pain and we don't know its cause. I have seen her tremble but thought that was due to pain. Well hoping you could help. Thank you for sharing!
Have this too. Love that someone made a video on it. Go off for calling out the people who fake it! My episodes consist of me getting a headache and getting dizzy then boom! I’m out lol
not like in a weird way But I do have a question If blood triggers diagnosed people How do they react to their own period blood?
Hahaha no I get it. It's honestly a whole spectrum. My period usually doesn't bother me as it's natural process but if it does ( once in a blue moon it will) I just make sure to lay down after doing what I need to do with it. Hope that answers your question!
i had experienced it 5 times at school and 1 time at hospital everybody think that it happens bcz i dont take proper diet but its not true i always take proper healthy diet and enough water iam 17 right now . i sweat when i get fainted and before 5sec of fainting my legs bEcome heavy and also i feel to lie down .
Good information! My daughter has been dealing with this since she was in the 5th grade, she now a sophomore in HS. Dr's did alot of tests, ekg, heart monitor, and eeg on the brain and still can't diagnose her....I know she must have what you have I need to take her Back! Thanks for the information 👍
You're welcome here anytime!
there other places that are a lot nicer than London
Yeah This was before I knew about the other wonders of the UK. I honestly don't want to visit London but I want to roam the countryside instead.
Aw, hope you get here one day!
Didn't make it to study abroad then? That's a shame
Yeah if you want to learn the metric system don't move to England.....Europe would be a better bet..
Sainsburys, waitrose, aldi, tesco, lidl, asda, co-op morrisons and a lot more supermarketd
If you drink three pints of beer in an American bar they take your car keys away. If you drink three pints in an English pub you are the designated driver. That was just a joke.
Your such a lovely lady. A pleasure listening to you. I am from Kent, England. I was born in Camberwell SE5
Hereford England
England is very nice and I your new subscriber from Afghanistan.
This is so cute
Mad as a march hair
I have maybe a dozen good/close friends that I see a couple of times per year, that's it. The rest of the time, I'm happy being 'alone' and doing my own thing. I can totally understand how toxic friendships can make you feel insecure about others, I am without the former. One thing you have to remember is that the people you consider your friends may still think the same of you, just at a different level, or they have more/fewer. I never asked to be included in anything and was hardly ever asked to be, and I never really fit in anywhere until I was about 19. Are you crying when your roommate is out because you're by yourself or because you want to be with her? You can be happy that she is enjoying herself. Feel free to message me if you want to talk to someone.
Just remember London is not the UK
We have agriculture in england to 🤔
Keep going sweetheart your great
As an old Englishman we love America and always shall the rest of the world sucks
I AM HERE FOR ALL OF YOU FIGHTERS THAT HAVE HAD BAD DOCTORS WHEN IT COMES TO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was driven to the hospital in an ambulance from passing out and the doctor said this to my parents ¨I have 16 other patients right now, your daughter is the least of my concern.¨
Oh my gosh, I was in 4th grade when I was diagnosed with Vasovagal Syncope and I get triggered by some of the same stuff but my main reason for having this is because I have an under-developed vagus nerve. I also have trichotillomania which doesn´t help at all either.
London.
Hope you make it to here, and also that we don’t disappoint you. Nowhere’s perfect.
Hi, only just seen your video (2years late) I just wanted to say that if you come to England there are some really nice places to visit such as Bournemouth, it has a long and great beach and park and is a nice place (also near the New Forest). Also Brighton, (which many people call 'London by the sea) with many interesting shops, cafes, alleyways etc. plus other places like Devon (Torquay, known as the English French Riviera) Cornwall (where you can have cream teas, St. Ives is a very nice seaside town in Cornwall with a lot of artists there. Also the two moors (Dartmoor and Exmoor, both very wild countryside). These are all in the South. Up north the Lake district (known as' Little Switzerland) is also very nice, and in the middle of England (the Cotswolds) there are many quaint villages such as Castle Combe. But I'm sure if you come, your family will tell you what to visit. You can also check out these places on TH-cam. I hope that you will come and that you will enjoy your time here. Take care, stay safe.
I love Newcastle and that’s it as far as England goes lol .
I'll let you know now England is rubbish and great in equal measures from Birmingham England
I speak 4 languages German polish English and bad English
Physics is everything! Being set up to fail by your school is not Physics' fault.
Did you ever get to England ?
I'm English, live in the midlands.
Learning how the metric system works? Not heard that one before, do you mean to know the conversions well. American money takes more learning than English, there are 100 pence in a pound, that's it.
No it doesn't take more learning, 100 pence to the £ , 100 cents to the $ . Hardly rocket science really
@@miketaverner4451 Yeah, but you have things like a quarter (or 'two bits'). We just have 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 pence pieces.
@@10thdoctor15 I am more than aware of that given that I am from the UK, still makes no odds 100cent=$ , 100pence =£ . 12 pennies to a shilling 30pennies to half a crown ( 2 and a kick ) ect before decimilisation
Hello! I'm an Englishman! And a Londoner. And from Essex. A great combination... or the worst! ='D
Typical Yank, English = British NO !!!!!! Scottish, Welsh & Northern Irish are also British
Just wanted to say, you're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen! hope you're doing well!
Wow, thank you! That makes my day hearing that!
You are barking! So you will definitely fit in here! Welcome!!!!
I've got some interesting content, follow me. I'm from England but some of us are not that interesting.
I am from Spain and I enjoy your show
🏴🏴
I'm English and I don't know how to take this 😂
Sounds like you need to come to England to study. Easy to do. Find a University, find the course you want, get on it and I'm sure people would be happy to help with accommodation etc.. Enjoy.
