Oil Pump Flow & Volume Test

Oil level filled to OEM specifications. Oil feed line to head was unhook at the head and a hose was attached to run into bottle. 1:45 seconds to pump out until air bubbles started showing up in the constant flow stream. There is still oil in the bike just below the oil pump pick up inlet, so this is not 1 quart. Video is just something to compare too and see if pump & flow is normal.

Unlike the Grom. No "early" engine damage seems to happen for unknown reasons. Any wheelie over 28 degrees or so there is no oil feed to the head and the crank. Which would be any wheelie basically. The hose line shown was on the OEM main oil feed line to the head cut at the halfway point and attached and no oil was going to head as designed.

Someone needs to shut down the site for it quit taking orders me and many others have bought items and they have not been shipped. We have not been contacted. We have not had our return. We have not had our emails returned. We have no info the business is for sale and we saw all our waiting parts. Definitely Buyer beware for the whole business. Many of us are still waiting. No need to drain oil. Both caps are above oil level. but do have the bike straight up

I done this mod but without installing any kind of baffle. I did however take the old baffle and make it into a new tip for the muffler. Sticks out about 2 inches past the muffler. Mine is nowhere near this loud I wonder if it's because I didn't use a baffle, or because I reinstalled a tip essentially?
The size of the whole is what makes it louder. I stopped at 1 3/8" . Adding any kind of tail extension only makes the deep tone sound worse, but does look nicer. See www.z125owners.com/threads/10-cent-muffler-mod.14002/post-115119
Be grinding the weld off mine so I can leave a little pipe for a good seat to weld it back on

Do you know a reason why the shift pawl would be sticking too far out, I know it is supposed to be on the shift drum, but it's sticking too far out. I thought I figured out my mistake but I am stuck lol.

No one offers a modified oil pump pick up line like those for the grom, yet that I know of but the Z125 has proven to be not as sensitive and damaging to engine life as the grom is. Unless you spend more than 1 minute long wheelies 75% of the bikes life it will relubricate the system every time the bike is back down for 15 seconds or so, therefore a safe idea to make sure you do and give it a chance to relubricate before bringing it right back up imedealetly especially while learning

My z125 just spins I've been told it's the starter clutch it's the gear behind the fly wheel right I've open her up and watched as the starter engages the gear limiter and all the gears really but not the fly wheel need help where to get one heard install is fairly easy I don't want to pull anything off until I've ordered and made sure this is the problem...Need to know where I can order one can't find a place other than eBay used ones

Can you lift the wheel into the balance point please mate ? Very interesting video, and very thankful for your time and effort to make this although I think the knowledge to learn is from when the wheel is further back
There was no reason to test past 40 degrees because the oil feed has stopped. I did test at 55 degrees as the video shows because that was the average balance point I came up with

@@kaweechannel3884 on Facebook I showed you exactly where the true balance point is in a video, you can hear the bike stall because there isn’t enough throttle..
@@kaweechannel3884 balance is the same it’s just weight distribution, for no handers you need to be just behind balance point and using the brake to keep it within that zone
I got a CEL code “51” after installing an integrated tail light and TST signals on the front. Does this seem likely to cause that problem? I also have a NGK plug wire installed but never had an engine light till installing the turn signals.
CEL only monitors the DFI systems. but creating a electrical issue can effect the system and the code is not really valid to the actual issue. Need to dis-connect what ever you just did back to what it was before to rule out if the new lights are causing the issue or not. But you will have to do the 4-RIDE CEL reset before the light will go off. If the bike is running fine just disregard the CEL for now and see if the light gos off

Any suggestions regarding shock replacement for a lightweight (120lbs) Z125 casual street rider? The stocker is way too over-spring/damped for me, and I've wondered if some KLX aftermarket shock (or even a stock KLX shock) might work.
This shock will work good for you. Or look for a shock that is 9 3/8" (240mm) long center of eyes to eye With a 12mm bolt size

Yeah, I noticed that the MK-AR shock is available in 260mm, and so was wondering if its softer springing would allow enough sag to match the stocker's ride height without requiring a lowering link. And I do keep in mind the possibility of doing an off-road build like this at some point. :>)

What keeps the one way clutch from falling down to far?
If i understand what your asking, the one-way clutch is bolted to the rotor and the rotor has a tapered hole and the shaft is tapered so it becomes a interference fit on the shaft eventuality
