Whats interesting is some similarity to the 262. I think this was a test bed for 262 till they could get reliable jet engines
Also called toe poppers
This man came to my class with another medal of honor recipient today. (6 others came for different periods for humanities)
Why the narrator sounds like Luke from Modern Family? 🤔
I would have named that thing hummingbird
Amazing.
The type 91 is awesome. I bet a modern design would be extremely good
Pretty f’n wild aircraft design…
Thanks for educating me on this small submarine. Never knew about it. I can't believe that they convinced any Japanese sailors to consent to run the machine. Talk about claustrophobic! What a horrible experience. Bad idea. Thanks for your research.
Battlefield 5 players feel this
Ah yes the on Banzai Bomb on a stick
so true @M1kdTheOnly
So...ground version of kamikazes?
Yes. They also had a frogman version. Sailors were to sit underwater off the invasion beached, and when the landing craft went over, slam the charge into the bottom of the hull.
Time to find a new cut g. Crooks retired that one.

The tactical tuna! Thats what ee used to call them back in the day, buut PSR's fish gun is absolute bop.
Amazing review and presentation of a historical event that needs to be remembered and men honored. Thank you for your efforts.
that's not a lynching that's just a murder with possible racial undertones (and i do mean possible it wouldn't be the first time someone left something to misdirect Barney and judge dingleberry!!) a lynching requires public outrage over a previous unanswered incident (such as a rape or string of thefts!) and that's not present here, the fact the note was written in pencil instead of ink tells me it was a spur of the moment afterthought and not a planned move. in a lynching they normally leave the biggest sign they can telling what they did to make sure any and all get the message!
@@keithmoore5306 I was teetering on whether to use “lynching” or not. Some sources did others didn’t. Thanks for staying with us Keith!
@@TiptonBros yeah i believe it some are race, power or virtue signaling obsessed and to those morons any black death other than natural causes in a white area back then is an automatic lynching!! and as long as your doing interesting stuff i'll be around!
Great video as usual. As one of the only black people in my town, it makes me wonder if we've had any similar events in our area and if that may be why.
i don't think this was a lynching it sounds more like a murder with an effort to misdirect the sheriff!
@@WynnofThule Thank you! I’ve lived in the area for twenty years and this was the first time hearing of it. I would wager that similar occurrences happens near you as well.
I pledge to eat my next turkey sandwich in vengeance.
An interesting moment in history. Very cool to see you had the chance to visit the relevant historical locations.
@@sinisterthoughts2896 Many thanks brother!

When you take out crime from true crime: Now it’s just “true”
Funny edit. Well done boys!!
That's crazy. I have been to my fair share of funerals and can picture this happening as not all bodies are equal in weight. I've seen a few Pall Bearers trip and fall down as they make their way to the hearst or graveside.
Some days just aren't worth getting out of bed for, sheesh!
An incredibly sad story. Thanks for memorializing these soldiers bravery.
An emotional story that needs to be told. Thank you for your time efforts and hard work.
Well that was embarrassing... I suppose he at least didn't live long to regret it. Oi ve.
"while many deaths are attributed to the fabled drinker" At first I thought he meant the poet was a murderer 💀
At last received the medal of honor. Great report!
he had to be pretty drunk... but then again, I have had a conversation with a tree (or two) while drunk. So, I suppose I could see that happen in hindsight.

Sounds fun me and my kid will go out collecting them today
Desmond Doss: I will volunteer myself to involve in operation and I want to save a wounded soldier without killing enemy Ben L. Salomon: Then stay away. Just stick to the soldiers medical sector at the boot camp. Let me be a dentist and also medic role in war (Soon Ben L. Salomon sacrificed himself against the attacking Japanese troops and managed to kill 98 Anyway.. based on Ben Salomon case, if he survived, he would've had replace Desmond Doss as a medic role in Okinawa since would have fought with gun too
Isn’t that where Hitler was later born?
Nice i Never heard of these before
Congrats! you taught me something I had no idea about, that's no easy task.
oh i'd trust a Khyber pass special before one of those!!
Unbelievable, informative and educational presentation. You are amazing. And I really liked your presentation about the soldier in the 1500's who died tripping on his four foot long beard!
Wait was that where Hitler was born
Bro looks like mathew crooks the trump shooter.
The "have a tokarev and smile" bit was hilarious!
wish could see how worn parts are if still same parts in 80s holding up
I just got mine today. I did the traverse as a field service mechanic. This is the greatest achievement I have ever received.
Congratulations!
Heckler and coke…
My favorite Soviet WW2 aircraft, especially in Normandie-Niemen markings! 🇫🇷
It really too bad the Beechcraft Corporation didn't allow for use of the more widely used motor from the Corsair(and the P-47 and the B-24) as it was widely distributed(I think it was made in several different factories) and was still a superb engine(over 2000 HP eventually, I think). The Air Force would have liked it if the 75mm cannon was a variant, and the other prototype showcased a more conventional(and versatile) design. But the B-29 project had MASSIVE support in the US Congress - the B-29 program had more funding than the Manhattan project that made the first nukes, in spite of the problems the B-29 had with those very same engines.
A6m5 had a ha 115 / Sakae 21 and exactly the same power as the Ki43 II … talk about a well researched video…
We appreciate the correction but there's no need to be rude.
The lead photograph indicates that the photo was taken after cessation of hostilities. If you look to the right you can see the tail of a B-24, and what looks to be a Lockheed Hudson.
