so confused. incredibly well edited and informative, yet only 542 subs??? hope this channel blows up 🙏
Very kind of you to say 😊 We’re going to keep at it and we hope it grows. 🤞 And thank you. 😁
Another great video, super chill ☺️
Thank you! We appreciate that. 😁
I am ready for Japan now
Happy to hear! We hope you all have a blast. 💥😁
wow
Thank you ☺️
Beautifully put together vlog. Hope to see more from you guys.
Thank you! We’re hoping to have more out soon. 😊
Beautiful editing and one of the more unique Tokyo videos we have seen. You did a mix of touristy and non touristy which we enjoyed! And a whole lot of new eateries we have never seen or heard up with the exception of Fuglen, Happy Pancake and the Shirohige Cream puff Factory. We're heading back to Japan in February and this video got us excited to be back. Can't wait to see more.
Thank you so much. We really appreciate the compliments and we’re happy you enjoyed it. We really miss Japan and can’t wait to get back. We hope you all have a blast.
Thanks man! straight forward and not wasting time.
Thank you! Much appreciated
What was the pool like ?
It’s nice, more of a lap pool, but it’s indoors and heated.
Thank you very much for introducing my country so wonderfully.
Thank you for saying that. We really can’t wait to go back and see more.
Awesome recs! Bookmarked. Thank you
We’re happy you like it 😁 Thank you for the compliment.
Good 👍
Thank you 😊
welcome to Japan❤ 楽しんでくれましたか?
Thank you ☺️ ここは世界で一番好きな場所の一つです
Great video! I’ll be in Tokyo this winter for a few days, and your recommendations are super helpful-I'll update my itinerary! Thank you so much 😊
We’re really happy the video was helpful. We hope you have as good of a time or better than we had. 😊
i love how organized your video and caption details are! thank you for making it easy for us to research places
That’s so great to hear! And we’re happy it’s helping. We’ll definitely continue to add in useful facts and links in future content. 😊
This is very helpful! Thank you!
Thank you and I believe there has been a change. I’ve pinned the comment to the top of the section. I hope you have an amazing time in Japan.
great storytelling!
Thank You 😊
最高にオシャレなビデオでした!!
本当にありがとうございます!😊感謝しています。
Congrats on your Honeymoon in Japan!! Make the most of it!
Thank you so much! We’ll do our best. 😊
love this sort of vlogs. you get to actually enjoy traveling without having anxiety about speaking as you record the moments. also the honest reviews were nice to see. reminds me of a friend who loves to explore restaurants and cafes and i tag along with her whenever i can. subscribed, can't wait to see more from you.
Thank you so much! For the compliments, feedback and subscription. And we’re really happy to hear the vlog was welcoming. We were hoping it would be like that, but we never really know until you hear it. We’re working hard in Kyoto right now, also we love your handle. Taserface was a great pick.
good vlog
Thank you 😊
wow
Japan is amazing
Where did you get your facial and massage? Thank you
It was Ko Gen Do. Here is the link. www.kohgendo.com/usa_salon
had to leave the comment, i love this vlog!! its calm, enough information, also that you provide honest reviews and details in each place you visited.
Thank you so much. We love these kinds of comments. They’re a big help understanding what people think are useful 😁
I learned a bunch of stuff about Japanese food i didn't expect to learn. Thanks!
That’s awesome! I’m glad we could help 😁
Great Vlog! I always wondered about taking leftovers. I am going in 2 weeks and I am so excited :)
We’re excited for you! It’s such a cool place. And the leftovers thing was a whole debacle. I stood there for five minutes explaining what I’d like to do and I noticed they were really confused, but I thought it was the language barrier or something else and then I looked it up. Looking back it totally explained the confusion because in that culture it’s not a thing. Then, the food was SO light we ended up eating both with zero problems. I was so embarrassed 😳. But again, we hope you have a great time and that’s not a difficult thing to do there. 😁 Safe Travels! ✈️ 🇯🇵
Totally enjoyed this vlog! Amazing content. Living in Tokyo going 4 years now and you’ve just reignited my excitement for the city 🎉
That’s amazing to hear! Thank you! And to hear that from someone who lives means a lot ☺️. Thanks again for the kind words.
Amazing vlog, great format with concise narration. Please do more cities around the world! Big fan, hope y’all go viral!
Thank you for saying that, we are leaning into the feedback and we’re working on Kyoto. And that would be so awesome if we did go viral 😁🤞🍀. Thanks again 😁
sophisticated smiles
Cute sticker!
I want to say thank you for creating this video! I’m thinking about planning a trip to Japan next year and I’m very happy this video was recommended to me. I’ve watched many other videos and this is one of the best I have seen so far. It’s beautifully shot and edited. I really appreciate you putting the name of the places you visited and the area it’s in. This is very helpful! I also enjoyed the storytelling / commentary of the places you visited. Lastly, I really enjoyed the overall vibe of the video. It’s definitely the type of trip I would like to have when I visit so maybe that’s why. It feels intimate and chill. Like you really took your time to appreciate every place you visited. It didn’t feel rushed! Thanks again for this video! 😊
We are super happy you enjoyed it! And thank you for the compliments and we’re happy the links are being used. We weren’t sure about that one… well we’re just started out so we’re not sure about much but knowing people are using them lets us know that we are in the right track. 😁 And the trip was perfectly paced but that’s all Alicia. She’s the brain behind all the logistics. We hope you have an amazing time. Tokyo and Japan are great places to wander because you’ll happen upon so many quality things. We hope you love it as much as we did. ☺️
One thing I enjoyed about your vlog is your storytelling. The way you explained each place you visit and each activity you did was splendid. I’m visiting Japan for the first time in late Nov (just few more weeks) and the excited is slowly building up but also the anxiety of my dream becoming a reality. I appreciate you put links and prices of everything you did.
Thank you for letting us know. We’re new at this so the feedback about what you like is really helpful for us. And your trip is SO CLOSE!!! We’re excited for you! For us it was a really amazing experience and we hope it’s the same for you. 😊 Safe Travels.
@@DanielandAliciaTravel Well you are definitely doing a good job let me tell you. And thank you!! I'm slowly putting the last activities on the go and soon start packing but gosh I'm starting to get little nervous its my first time flying internationally and i'm so happy I picked my dream destination
ようこそ日本へ お待ちしております😊
Great vid. Having the voice over was great. Some of the other videos ive seen from people about their trip japan dont have commentary so this was great to follow your trip
Also to add the guide-style vlog was a good decision too.
Thank you for letting us know. I was actually pretty concerned I was talking too much, because the other videos don’t. But I’m really happy to hear it adds to the vlog. Thank you for the compliments. We’re just starting out so it’s means a lot and it’s really motivating.
Yeah your channel will definitely blow up. This was in my recommended and I honestly thought this was already from a big channel the way it was shot, edited, and plays out. Great storytelling. Good luck with your future youtube endeavours! I’m going to japan in 3 weeks for the first time and will definitely use this vid for some last minute ideas!
Loved the content! We were there in January and will be back next month for the Momiji🍁 Would love to try some of these restaurants and cafes! Which camera did you use to film though? Loved the sharpness :)
That’s so awesome! The maples are so beautiful when they change! We’ve never been for that but it’s in our list. 😊 Sushi Punch, Miyabi, Bar Trench and Pizza Marumo are towards the top of our list 😊 we feel very confident with those. For this I shot everything with my iPhone 15 in 4K, but just recently we’ve added the Pockets Osmo 3 and I think it’s great. 😁 Also, we hope you have a blast next month!
Where yall stayed?
We stayed at the Hyatt House Shibuya. It was a bit tricky to get to, but we loved it. It had a washer and dryer which is very handy if you want to travel light and from what I understand the directions there have changed a bit, but the pinned top comment explains how. I hope this helps. th-cam.com/video/7is6Jh8O6d0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bgJNSlR41HNPG7Z3
this popped on my fyp so the algorithm is definitely algorithming but i just wanted to say, this was a breath of fresh air in terms of travel vlog/recommendations all in one. your pacing with the editing is absolutely perfect. hopefully you guys visit japan again and we can consume maybe .. kyoto + osaka ?! also, huge congratulations on the wedding! wish nothing but the happiest of times for you both moving forward as a married couple.
Thank you so much for saying what you did. This was our first bigger/longer vlog, so we didn’t know how people would take it. It feels amazing to have someone acknowledge the work we’ve put it. 😊 Thank you! We also have some Kyoto content coming up with a splash of Osaka in there. 😁 I hope we can make it back in 2026 as well. Thank you for the congratulations and kind words. We can’t say it enough, thank you, it really does mean a lot. ☺️
this has to be one of the best vlogs I have seen about Tokyo. Each stop was high quality and you gave a short concise explanation of each place, you didn't dwell too long. The editing was gorgeous. I must have watched about 100 vlogs before my trip this is easily one of my favs along with Sam and Victor and - Ralph and Sam's videos.
Thank you! We were going back and forth on the script and video for a while, so hearing comments about those specific things is great. 😊 We’ll be doing our best to put out more content at this level and hopefully better in the future. Also, we love Sam & Victor and Ralph & Sam. They were very big sources of inspiration for us. Thanks again for the kind words, the positivity is motivating. We appreciate it a lot. 😊
Totally agree. I’ve been watching some videos for a trip to Japan, and this by far is the best, or among the best ones.
Great video. So pleased I came across this a week before travelling to Japan. Your vibe is exactly what my wife and I would like.
That’s great to hear and you’re going to have an amazing time. The city and country are phenomenal. Tokyo is now one of our favorite cities in the world. We’re wishing you both happy travels. 😁
Beautifully shot and edited. You make my favorite city look even more alluring and exciting. Thanks for sharing your journey with us!
Thank you so much! That’s really kind of you to say. It’s also now my #1 City again. We’re already looking forward to going back. 😊
Shout out Ralph and Sam! Loved this vid
Thank you! And they’re so awesome and a big inspiration for us. And Sam and Victor too. Maybe it’s a Sam thing lol.
Awesome video! Kampai!
KAMPAI 🍻
Thank you so much for this! We're planning to stay here soon and the section on how to get here from the station is very helpful. Question for you. Is New South Gate also close to the Narita Express platform (to go to and from Narita Airport)?
I’m really happy you like the video. I’m not sure about the Narita express but there have been some changes. I’d look at the pinned comment at the top, someone has told me they’ve moved the New South Gate. I would recommend using the exit that Google maps recommends. And focusing on the Sakura Stage. I hope these updates help.
Sakura Stage it is. Got it. Thanks again! :)
Need to know when will be the next video
I should have another one up in a couple weeks 😊 I’m really happy you liked the videos. 😁
You killed the creampuff
LOL 😂
FYI for folks following the directions from Shibuya station: as of 2024-07-21, the "New South Gate" has moved from its original location as shown at 5:12 to the elevated walkway between Shibuya Stream and Sakura Stage (the white block over the train lines left of the "Shibuya Stream Excel Hotel Tokyu"). As of 2024-08-27 Google Maps has not been updated yet. 2024-11-01 Update: for some reason the pedestrian bridge between the two buildings has disappeared from Google Maps.
That’s a great update. I’ll have to add that in someway.
Thank you for this update
Hi what floor was your unit on? I’m here now and I am trying to switch units to a higher floor.
We were on the 11th floor. I hope getting there went smoothly.
Thank you for this!
Thanks for sharing
Happy too. I hope it helps. 😊
Wow, great day & the Wagyu looks incredible! I need to find a route to to Minato.
Minato City has so many attractions. We highly recommend checking it out and the Wagyu. 😊
Congratulations and I love that you guys love your coffee & Mezcal!
We are both big fans of Coffee. We just got our own Goose kettle and Clever Dripper. I’m more of a fan of Mezcal than Alicia, but she still really likes it too.
Another amazing video! I had no idea Uniqlo is Japanese. I thought it was Chinese! I am jotting down all the places you went in my notes!
I’m not sure if it’s originally from China or Japan, but I do know that both stores in Ginza and HUGE! I’ve also left a links to the stores themselves or a Google map with all the locations we’ve been. I hope that helps.
