Lord Craigavons speech on the death of Carson
Spent their time terrorising innocent Catholics.
Thieves and brigands invading another country! Shamelessly stealing and pillaging while thumping their King James Bibles. Calling the natives who fought to protect their homes and land "Rebels" and "Traitors". Do the English not regard Robin Hood as a Rebel? To the Normans he was an outlaw. Meanimg he was, "Outside the protection of the law". He could be killed without punishment for the perpetrator. This sounds very similar to the actions carried out by British forces in the 6 counties into the 1980's. "Shoot to kill", the policy was named. I'm from Co. Cork, nicknamed the "Rebel County ". When i was little I stood beside my father as shots were fired over my grand uncles grave. This was done by 6 Irish Army soldiers for his part in fighting for Irish freedom. We regard him as anything but a terrorist! Anyone with half a brain can see the future that is on the horizon for the 6 counties. Its a numbers game and these numbers are not in the Unionists favour. Brexit has accelerated this and London will drop its last stronghold on Irish soil like a hot potato! They've sold out the loyalist community before and they'll do it all again!
Absolutely brilliant!!!
Impartial ? That's a joke as we all knew anyway
Isn't it weird how most of the old Stormont PMs sounded English, while insisting on being proud Ulstermen?
When the coloniser plays the victim
How about building a non sectarian community? Surely your community doesn’t rest your laurels on something that took place in 1690? Don’t be so tribal lads. Is this what your culture seeks to grow on? It is the twenty first century, stop living in the past. Don’t you want more than hate?
Thank you for this video
Did they fire at the wall with cannons?
Yes
Oh it is, I see him now
Is that the late great Gerry Anderson narrating this?
And the moral of the story is don’t steal .
He said ''non sectarian...'' ))))))))
We were planted on over and over again, what about some of these acts Act for the Settlement of Ireland 1652 The Act for the Setling of Ireland imposed penalties including death and land confiscation against Irish civilians and combatants after the Irish Rebellion of 1641 and subsequent unrest. British historian John Morrill wrote that the Act and associated forced movements represented "perhaps the greatest exercise in ethnic cleansing in early modern Europe." Now how many times in history do you think that the people of Ireland went through this crap. The land is called northern Ireland for a reason, because its a part of Ireland.
It all seems a bit pointless now, given my town now looks like Kabul.
The Weaver Street bombing, McMahon killings, Arnon Street massacre. Just some of the atrocities commited by the 'B' Specials.

Cromwell believed the propaganda pamphlets stating 80,000 protestants were murdered when the entire colony only numbered 60,000, current research into declarations of fleeing colonists indicates the indigeonus Irish population were massacred in much greater numbers ,fiering a rebellion.

And can i ask, How did the Protestants settlers get this land?
How did the ancestors of those settlers get from Ireland to what is now Scotland ?
@@andym9571by boat
@@andym9571. Can you provide evidence of the Irish stealing land in Scotland by force.
@@bluechip297 Evidence ? It is well known history. Find it anywhere. The 'Scotti' an Irish tribe from the area that is now Northern Ireland settled land in what is now Scotland. That is how Scotland got its name.
@@andym9571 Yes but the descendants of the Dalriada were Gaelic inhabitants of the Highlands and Islands. The settlers referred to in this video were Brythonic/Germanic people from the Scottish lowlands and the north of England. They had no connection with Ireland, unless you want to make one up. But making up history for political purposes is known as pseudo history.

@@Ulster-vi4mtwait until u realise Oliver Cromwell killed 618,000 Irish women and children.
DUP SF same old same old.
These images were used to stoke hatred in England against the Irish and Catholics in general. They also claim 154’000 people were killed. This number was taken from eyewitnesses who took refuge in Dublin, in what was called the 1641 Depositions. These were a mix of witness testimonies, hearsay, and rumour. The figure of deaths is thought to be between 4’000-12’000. It’s important we remember it happened. And also that it was used by Cromwell to defend the actions he carried out in Drogheda, Wexford, Cashel etc resulting in the deaths of 40% of Irelands men, women and children. He used misinformation like this to cause destruction in Ireland, an important lesson we can learn from.

They were stealing land that wasn't theirs. Would you give up your home without a fight?
This massacre was to do with religion. Regardless of land or religion, it was shameful barbarity. This was not fighting with honour.
@@H-nx8wr Wrong. The robbers happened to be Protestant settlers and the robbed indigenous Catholic.
They were human beings. It cannot be justified. What if the English had done that to the Irish who went over to England? They never did that. This is a good lesson in understanding what humanity means.

@@PatrickButler-pp4hh Only if you pick one moment in History to decide who the 'indigenous' population were. It certainly was not "Catholics" . Not forgetting that those settlers came from an area of Scotland ( mainly ) that had previously been settled by an Irish tribe ( the Scotti ).

Sectarian militia group of the occupied six counties...
Who knew natives didn't take kindly to foreigners coming over and literally stealing their land...
