Ramblings is an EP of four improvised tracks, recorded earlier this year. Me and my guitar, sat in my room in Paris, using improvisation to write songs, a way to process the feelings I was struggling with at the time: loneliness, insecurity, intense nostalgia. I don't shave during winter because number one. I wear mostly pants so it gives me a good excuse whenever people ask me and start complaining about it. But number two I find Harry likes to be sexy on men so why wouldn't I find them sexy on myself?

    Hi Taryn! I doubt you’d remember this or see this comment, but during the pandemic I was part of this online open mic that met rather regularly, and you were one of the older members of the mic. It was quite a heavy year with a lot of tension going on, and that open mic was a way of connecting to the world that was rather impossible to get at the time. I was in middle school then, and I really looked up to you. I thought the way you wrote music and traveled the world was amazing, and the risks you were willing to take inspired me. In many ways, they still do. The elements of my life that bring me joy, the parts of the world I want to pursue, can, in some form or another, be traced to this exact video you made, which I first watched maybe a year later in the thick of 2020. I have a decent photographic memory, and I just couldn’t get one still out of my head for the past year, which was one random frame of this video. I can easily see why it stuck around. It gave me a window into another world, one that I’m proud to now be a part of. I’ve moved countries, states, and many other places since that online open mic, and have taken my writings to several stages as a playwright and actor. And somehow, that all started with this video. So thank you for being yourself. I’m sure you didn’t mean to be an inspiration, but you are. I hope life is kind and full of exciting adventures for you. Thank you for making things, however big or little they are. They do have such an impact.

    I’m a conservative woman. I’m like a big van full of kids and sabbath and homeschool type. I think the shaving expectation is abhorrent and anti-conservative. Conservatives should always be against societal expectations of shaving. If religious because God made the hair, and encouraging women to look like girls is perverted. Also, if God is real, then men should not care what women’s legs look like when they are not married to the woman. If non-religious conservative, they should care about logic and freedom. Logically, shaving is unhygienic. Having the stereotype encourages un conservative behaviors. Conservatives should encourage the freedom for women to live in their natural bodies. A female is a woman, so why put unnatural expectations on women and then complain that women should be something other than nature intended? I don’t shave. It’s awful for one’s skin health.

    • @SandraT269
      @SandraT269 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This. Even science is against shaving and finds body hair beneficial. Body hair protects from bacteria, dust, irritation and by that, infections. People are brainwashed by media nowadays and they turn on when they see women looking like prepubescent girls.

    What our different regions call items is always amuzing. Jumper vs sweater. Boot vs trunk. But swim “costume” sounded odd to me until I really broke down us calling it a swimsuit. Suit? Like really? WTF. 🤣🤣🤣. Amazing packing of such a small bag. Especially considering you took paper books.

    Lovely packing video! I watch quite a lot of minimalist packing content on here, and yours is by FAR the most colorful. Love the dresses and dungarees formula. I've made a note to focus on a few favorite pieces to re-wear over and over. It's a great strategy! Also, I love that you've made an effort to have reusable items, handkerchief, menstrual cup, etc. It makes a big difference. I've never traveled with such little amount of underwear (I'd usually bring 5 for that length of trip), but that's just because I don't want to have to sink wash them EVERY night. It can be done, but it's one of those things that's a trade-off.

      Just tell her you like it hairy. Trust me, I'd much rather a man said "I prefer your cnut hairy" rather than "oh don't worry about it because you get ingrowns". Telling me you like it means I feel attrarctive hairy, telling me not to owrry because of ingrowns makes me think you're putting up with it because you feel for me. I'd rather my boyfriend found me sexy.
