    Grazie, il video spiega molto bene l'utilità e le asppettative che soddisfano questi strumenti. Il verde l'ho già, il performance arriverà la prossima settimana al Lidl in Italia e correrò ad acquistarlo. Questi strumenti sono progettati per usi hobbystici ma purtroppo vedo sempre più professionisti che li acquistano, dico purtroppo perché poi è difficile trovarli. Un saluto dall'Italia.

      @PAFixandCrafts 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! Yes, in this case, the sharpening stone attached to the drill performed better. However, the traditional method isn't bad either-it just requires more effort than I demonstrated in the video. Both options work effectively. Thanks for watching!!!

    • @PAFixandCrafts
      @PAFixandCrafts 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @typhoontim125. First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! In my opinion, these drills offer excellent value for the price. The smaller one is particularly useful for making more precise holes due to its lower impact power. Each tool fulfills the purpose it's designed for, as I mentioned in the video-everything depends on what you need it for. For DIY projects, hobbies, and personal use, I highly recommend them. If I made a living using them, doing daily heavy-duty work, I might opt for a different brand, but this one strikes a great balance between quality and affordability for its intended use. The issue is that many people expect high-end performance from budget tools, which isn’t realistic. If you found video useful, please consider subscribing to the channel if you haven’t already. @PAFixandCrafts 7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @KamranGee-w1t. First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! I understand exactly what you're talking about, and it seems to be an issue specific to newer models that come as standard or basic versions. I have a Skoda Octavia 4, which I bought in February this year, and I’m facing the same issue. Since it’s a base model, it doesn't include wiring for the door lights. There is an option to create a circuit from the fuse box, but since my car is still under warranty, modifying it would void the coverage. In the meantime, I'm considering purchasing door projectors that run on their own batteries. I’ve seen a version that lasts about a month before needing a recharge. While it's not ideal, it’s my best solution for now. However, if you have access to a car electrician, they could help set up a circuit through the fuse box. Do you mind me asking the process of removing the piece from the mould?

    • @PAFixandCrafts
      @PAFixandCrafts 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @danielpluckrose8994. First of all, thank you very much for the comment!!! Unfortunately, I didn’t record this particular process, but it’s fairly straightforward. Generally, I slightly loosen the flange to create space for the compressed air gun to fit between the part and the mold, then I blow a significant amount of compressed air. The part usually comes off almost instantly-assuming the wax and polyvinyl alcohol were applied correctly. It’s crucial to consider how many curvature part have; the more there are, the more challenging it can be to release the part. Also, the catalyst percentage must be optimal. If it's too high, it can cause a violent reaction, generating excess heat and forming tension points in the laminate, which can lead to the part sticking, especially in the corners. If you don’t have access to a compressor, you can use a rubber hammer to gently tap the part until it loosens. Then, insert wedges between the flange and the part to help it come off completely. If you found this explanation helpful, feel free to subscribe to my channel-your support motivates me to keep creating valuable content!

      @kyiannos. First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! This is the item number 100363956, and it costs approximately 20 euros, including shipping. There is a more affordable version available for around 10 euros, but it doesn't include wireless charging. I personally recommend this model, though it's important to note that the charging speed may be slower than with a standard charger. However, I find this charger incredibly useful, especially during extended periods without electricity. With several accumulators providing over 60 amps of capacity, I can keep my phone and other devices charged, even if there's no power for a week. Thanks for this video. Found this quite an easy job. Just used a T30 Torx Screwdriver, 2 screws on top and 1 underneath accessible from the access panel on the front of the wheelarch liner by locking the steering wheel. I think it took me about 15 to 20 minutes to change the bulbs in each headlamp. Hardest part was lying on my back to unscrew the bottom one, its tight but manageable.

    • @PAFixandCrafts
      @PAFixandCrafts หลายเดือนก่อน

      @JonJon-fu8qz. First of all, thank you very much for the comment!!! I’m aware of that small access cover, but unfortunately, when the wheel arch on my car broke, I rebuilt it using fiber glass, and didn’t include that access hole. Because of this, I couldn’t film that particular version. However, I’ve received many comments explaining this method, and I’m glad people can read about this alternative way to change the light bulb. In the future, I plan to create a new video where I’ll also showcase this approach. If you found this video helpful, I’d love for you to subscribe to the channel if you haven’t already. @peterhiggins98. First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! It's called polyvinyl alcohol, and it creates a water-soluble protective film. While it's not mandatory to apply if the wax has been properly applied beforehand, I prefer to use it as an added safety measure. One major advantage is that it prevents the wax from sticking to the part, resulting in a shiny and clean topcoat. Hi, what about those pink blocks that you remove at minute 3:04? Are they standard parts? My Ford Ka don't have them, and I have a great problem: it's the 4th time in 3 years that my electrical window regulators break. According to you could it be those missing pink block the issue? I always installed Magneti Marelli window regulators (complete kit: regulator+motor), would you recommend an other brand? Ps: I also tried to lubricate the window guides with vaseline grease, but I had no results. Thank you in advance!

      @carminedicarlo1978. First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! Secondly, I apologize for my delayed response. Regarding your question, I placed those blocks to keep the window securely closed; without them, the window would have fallen. Since installing this system, I haven't had any issues with the window regulator. The system is manufactured by Valeo and I ordered it from Autodoc.com. Is made in Germany,and differs slightly from the original by routing the steel breath through some tubes, ensuring it stays in place and doesn't slip off the rollers. I need to change the electric park brake motor. It stopped working on one side in the "rewind" position. Do i also need to push the piston back as shown in the video? Is there anything else I have to worry about?

    • @PAFixandCrafts
      @PAFixandCrafts 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Belle1337. First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! In this situation, there's no need to push the piston. The piston was pushed back to create enough space for the new, thicker brake pads. The motor is equipped with a stroke limiter that stops it at a certain load. You just need to remove the old motor and install the new one, without having to disassemble the brake caliper. Both drills are very good value for money, I have both and paid £20 for the green drill and £40 for the performance drill, neither came with a battery or charger at that price, I use both with the 4 Ah battery. I have compared both to a much more expensive Bosch 18 volt drill and both Parkside drills are superior in drilling all materials, I prefer the smaller green drill due to its weight and balance especially for single handed use.

    • @PAFixandCrafts
      @PAFixandCrafts 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @george-ev1dq. First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! I believe these two drilling machines offer an excellent price-quality ratio. The smaller one is particularly useful for its impact power of one joule, which allows for precise holes, perfect for tasks like attaching a TV stand to a wall. The larger drill is great for making bigger holes, especially in concrete. I currently use both with 4-amp smart batteries, but I plan to upgrade to 8-amp batteries soon. @@PAFixandCrafts that would be greatly appreciated. I think I want to go with the smaller drill as I have a mains powered heavy SDS but if there is not a lot of difference is weight I might go for the big one. Thanks.

      @vectorboy7. First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! To cut that flap, I recommend using a cutter since its blade is thin and sharp. It's a straightforward process: gently run the tip of the blade over the thin part of the flap a few times until it comes off. @fabiomanuel3562. First of all, thank you very much for your comment!!! For my 400 square meter lawn, I rely on two 4-amp smart batteries. Right after fertilizing, the grass grows like crazy, so I occasionally dip into a second set of batteries, though they never fully discharge. I'm planning to upgrade to a set of 8-amp smart batteries to make things even more convenient. If you found this info helpful, please hit the subscribe button if you haven't already. @hectordanielcarrasco6415. Primero que nada muchas gracias por tu comentario!!! Las llantas son de 14 pulgadas con agujeros X 100. Para ello tuve que hacer bridas adaptadoras porque este tamaño se encuentra más en los modelos europeos que en los coreanos o japoneses, como es el caso de este coche. Los neumáticos son 175 con 55 R14. Las llantas son originales BBS fabricadas en Alemania y provienen de un golf 3. Si mi respuesta te resultó útil, no dudes en suscribirte al canal si aún no lo has hecho. Esto me ayuda y me motiva enormemente a continuar. Y me disculpo por mi español. No es tan bueno!

    Hi, thanks for sharing your experience! Could you please tell how long do you let the laminate cure before extracting it from the mould? Thanks!

    • @PAFixandCrafts
      @PAFixandCrafts 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @makarone. First of all, thank you very much for the comment!!! For optimal demolding, typically, a timeframe of approximately two hours it should be enough. In winter, I try to leave them until the next day to be sure that the fiberglass does not deform due to the temperature differences of the surrounding environment. It also depends a lot on the complexity of the piece and the total laminate mass. If I have a very thick part, I remove it after the first 4 layers, put the part back in the mold and apply the following layers with an hour break after every 4-6 layers of glass fiber applied, or until the temperature released by the lamination reaction drops below 30 degrees. In this particular case, after 2 hours the part was ready to be released from the mold. If you found value in this video and explanation, I'd greatly appreciate your subscription to the channel if you haven't done it yet.
