Can't see the need of tall, heavy bikes except of long straight streches with lots of luggage. We need right tools for the right job.
I like your livery
They call it as ADV 😂😂😂😂😂 LOL Better to buy a Himalayan 450 or KTM Adventure Bikes or may be a African Twin... Harley Davidson can't make a proper Adventure Bike... Adventure Bikes aren't like this
A wc on 2 wheels
Thank you
I usually always make sure one of my tires is in a dip area, that also helps.
You need to grow 😂😂😂
The slightest miscalculation with a 500lb bike and it goes down instantly, you cannot always choose a good spot. With a 600 lb bike? Best to practice.....1 trick, dont ride a 500lb bike off road.
I stopped dropping it by leaving the dang thing on the ground when it falls.
Can you please send me the link for your crash bars
Grow up 😂
Great reminder. When I started riding my 1st dirt bike, a KTM 990 in 2009, riders much better than I was were constantly dropping their new KTMs and GS bikes....into creeks, down hills and off the trail. Why? Because they were very experienced enduro riders familiar with 250-350 bikes and never had to really think about where they were stopping. A big bike, especially a tall big bike, requires that you think ahead. From putting your foot down to how you are going to deal with a narrow downhill that has a stopper. You have to always be ahead of the bike. There is something special about putting big bikes in small places, but the implications of not thinking it through can be serious. Be safe out there!
i feel like everything up to a 650 has pretty similar seat height no?
you've got this right, but bruh, i ride a 450 kick starter dirt bike, the struggle is real. 🥲🥲🥲
Какой смысл от этого видео если останавливаешься обычно неожиданно из-за препятствий
Enjoy your broken foot. Been there. Done that. Been riding almost every day for 37 years. Motocross boots are the way to go even for street riding. Broken my foot wearing street rated motorcycle boots when only the bike fell on top of me, walked away with just a bruise when wearing motocross boots (Alpinestars) when a Honda Civic ran over me. If you are cheap and don’t want to spend the money, Fox Comp MX boots are probably the way to go, otherwise get some Leatts 4.5 or Alpinestars.
Hi, Which version of Tenere 700? explore/extreme ?
Solution: ride a smaller bike !!
To be a full on ADV guy, the bike needs to be near 500 lbs or well over. A whole new set of skills needs to be learned. Broken bones can happen....because every dirt rider always wished his bike weighed 250lbs more than it does.
Now only if the can leave dealership floors without massive cracks/seperations in their frames.
Key difference is that you’re not doing the same kind of riding with both; ADV boots and enduro boots are each made for different types of riding so of course they’ll be different.
Good one bruh
❤
So, use common sense yeah?
Impressive, I am just a novice, can somebody tell me what bike is this, brand etc.. Thanks
Yamaha Teneré 700
Excellent 👍
What about a low kit suspensión 😊
what happened? what "two things"? is it anything about the sidestand microswitch? what was it about?
Hi, can you please tell me what skid plate u have fitted on the T7?thx
Seems so common sense but it didn’t click until you showed this. I really want a Tenere 7 but the height has been holding me back. Thank you. 🙏
It's as obvious as not pressing the front brake when turning at low speed and I've done it 3 times and counting 😂
390adv sw想知道在專業眼裡評價怎樣😂
Great content. ❤
Great pro tip!
Cooool 👍😜👍
Will share this with my shorter female friends who think that lowering the bike is their only option. Thanks.
I'm 5'4"...lowering the bike equalizes the playing field....being shorter generally means your lighter as well so the less suspension travel of a lowered bike doesn't tend to affect you as much as it would someone bigger
I choose to ride outside the rut until my bike chooses to be in the rut.
🤟💯
Thanks for making the video, how tall are you ? This clip will give a lot of shorter riders more confidence.
WP suspension on the KTM is a little bit bigger and rides well on the terrain unlike the Kayaba which throws off the Tenere.
What is your hight sir??? I am 5" 2feet 😢😢 can i ride this bike
try honda cb500x, cfmoto 450mt, they have lower setaheights
Just ride your bike more.
Lol. I have a 38in inseam both of my feet are flat on the ground on all of my bikes. Can't get riding gear that fits but I can live with that...
I learned this on a 1200GSA at the bottom of my driveway! D: great tip
🔥🔝💯🔥🔝💯🔥🔝💯🔥🔝💯

蠻好奇如果說日常通勤騎乘,偶爾過個溪,890養起來會不會成本很高呀?
Or get a shorter/lower/lighter bike? I know it sounds harsh but perhaps there's some truth to it?
Ground clearance is important when riding offroad too. Most guys of average height would struggle to get one foot flat on an enduro bike, and there's a reson for that.
@@HartyBiker Yeah absolutely, I guess one needs to decide the balance between ground clearance and being able to put their feet down. 🤷🏻♂️
It's so slow, stiff, and very obviously unwieldy 😂 Keep this thing on pavement as a boomer cruiser, you would have genuinely gone over everything in this video faster on a Honda rebel cruiser with scrambler tires on it.
I want to watch him pick it up!
lol me too
I have a CRF 450RX, (106kg 57HP ) a 701 and a R1300GS. The 701 is the “go to bike “ !! More fun on the road than the GS and almost as easy to throw around on the trails as the CRF !
It’s like extra weight on your girlfriend! More weight is never a good idea.
I'd love to see a comparison with the Tenere World Raid. I've got the bike and it's absolutely epic on road and off. Lower center of gravity due to the twin side gas tanks. Super comfortable on long rides. Great on dirt and off road. Large stones going downhill on curves were a challenge though due to my inexperience
