The saddest thing is that of all the chefs in this season, Russell, whether you agree or not, was the best of them all. But the biggest issue was his ego, and it’s really disappointing because his passion was there and was even doubted by the team before he made it to the finals. If he wasn’t such an asshole at the tail end, he would’ve won. But instead they had to choose motionless Nona because they need an average yet confident chef.

If it was down to just cooking alone, Russel was hands down better than Nona, but his personality stank and he was just a mean person. And in his final service, he showed that to Gordon, and gave him no choice then to give it to Nona.

Incredible moment honestly, this episode was great and shows how the environment can kill someone in wanting to stay. It's rare to see on the show. Also how Purple Kelly was basically set up for this since production purposefully gave her no clothes. The music at the end is amazing too.

I think that there should be a Hell's kitchen spin off. No more competition the way it's done on Hell's kitchen. Have every challenge not be a win/lose challenge. Have 2 winners who progressed the most at the end. Have experienced Chefs who know how to accept and learn from constructive criticism. It would be a drastic improvement for Hell's kitchen.
