If you put your life out there to the whole world and are making money from doing it you should expect a few critical comments. Personally I would just laugh at them. I am 62 years old and at the age of 5 my parents taught me "sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never hurt me" And the irony for you is that those people who have posted a negative comment have contributed to your finances. Yes, they have actually paid you by making their comment. That surely has to give you a laugh.

Am I missing something here? 90% of dog owners go to work 5 days per week 8 hours plus travel time and the pets stay home. How do all these millions of pets survive while their owners are at work? Sure some people are retired so can spend 24 hours per day beside their pets, but most people cannot. You are talking from a very unique perspective because you have your own business and can take the dog to work every day. You are probably in the 1% of the population who can do this. Not even being prepared to leave your dog in the van while you do your supermarket shopping seems a bit bizarre to me. This is NOT a problem that is unique to van life whatsoever because you obviously would not even leave your dog at a house alone to go grocery shopping. With respect you have made this dog overly dependant on you providing him with 24 hour companionship.

NAILED IT! It's " DIFFERENT ", but it's also simpler. I would never have a shower room built into a van. The road is very well catered for and the hassles of constantly sourcing large amounts of water and having the need of a Grey tank and all the issues and hardware of heating it etc, not worth it and the space you loose, it's crazy.

When I heard you say that you'd never get rid of your dog. I said out loud "good man" as if you could hear me. I enjoyed listening to your story and look forward to finding more of your videos and the progress of your rebuild. I have just found your channel from this video popping up in my feed. I'm glad it did, I love it! TH-cam clearly knows me well!! 😳 I'm the same been doing my own thing for a while and there so much more than just a 9 to 5. Hearing you talk about bootsales makes me feel nostalgic. I used to buy stuff at Auction's from all over London and the South East and sell them on eBay and then the leftovers it bootsales. I also have a youtube channel so have the same creative mind. I will never understand people that age who rent. I am 82 and have owned my own home since I got married at 26 years old. There is no future in renting. My ex still has the home we bought together in 1971 for $23,500. Today it is worth $450.00.

You didn't mention cleanliness. Men aren't normally clean. You could have rented out the other rooms in a house. NEVER GET RID OF YOUR DOG, PHEW. NO WAY.

If you are retired single and the funds to live in your van Why not. You can travel anywhere stay anywhere you like. Being free is a good thing.

It’s a real shame that all around the world is getting so expensive that the average working person can’t even find a place to live. It’s it’s it’s real bad. Something has to change even if you convert your band. You have to take a shower and use the toilet and that regards there’s no privacy. Everything else is doable, thanks for sharing. I hope things work out for you. You seem like a nice person. God bless and have a happy new year.

10 minutes I will never get back delete after 1 second

I was an endocrinologist for 15 years and I quit last year in November. I just couldn't take it anymore. Now I have my small business restoring historical photos for documentaries and magazines (I've been doing it for years, I just went for it full time right now). I also have this YT channel (that's not making a lot of money, even if you think it did. The subjects I talk about are "not suitable for most advertisers, so I only get YT Premium revenue, and that's tiny :P). I earn less but have more time with my family, and that's what I was looking for. My advice is to keep your job until you can sustain yourself (survive + a little extra) from the side hustle that is about to become your job one day. Don't rush it, it will hurt if it doesn't go your way and you end up in a situation where you are looking for a job with no money in your pocket. It's not easy owning your own company and most of the time you will work even harder, but it's worth it if you ask me. Good luck, guys!
