You dont have to fight the first guy. Just lasso and hogtie. Pick him up and the hat falls off. Drop him and dart out the back door. Most you'd get is 10-15 buck bounty. So you basically you bought yourself a 15 buck raccoon hat

I found it, and then when taming it ran up a small hill and kicked me off. So annoying, now it seems to have just vanished. The dang horse almost threw me off in the exact same spot. Lucky I tamed it lol

This is one of the reasons I turn autosave off and save regularly like when I am about to give a request I quickly save and if the cut scene doesn't play I just reload the game

i think i found a glitch was just on a random animal study trying to get more animals and i noticed this white horse tamed it then there was another then another all the same few spotted appaloosa was super weird everytime i sat on one another appeared near by this was just next to valentine

The rodeo hat is my favorite. I have a specific type of cowboy look that I like and prefer. The Rodeo hat. The Bulldogger hat and the Cattleman, Cutter hat and Big Valley are hats that I like the look of.

It triggered for me after doing the Strauss money lending, and returning to camp. Chapter 3.

Chapter 3, right after you complete the mission with Bill. Blowing up moonshine, when you return to camp, look for him sitting in a chair.

Came here to watch the cutscene because I was so moved by his story, and since I already love Lenny, I gave him the pocket watch that I already had on me the second I could and the only reply I got from Lenny was: “good”. Maybe it was because I was sitting at the campfire at the same time as him and it glitched so it didn’t trigger any cutscenes. Anyway, I was like “Ain’t no way it’s just that !, just a simple word from Lenny? No way”. Glad to know I wasn’t mistaken. Had to watch the full thing here and you can have my like lmao

It’s crazy how they made some hats save able and some not. Kinda shitty. Like I wish they would have just created a list of each hat that you can steal, and collect. And just also let you collect other hats that are not required to complete the thing. Like add it in something else

With the classic racoon hat. You can just craft it at the trapper.

If you put an unsaveable hat on your head and it doesn't stay on. Go to the fence in emerald ranch, or the barber in st. Denis, there is a chance it will respawn on your head.

It seems that i cannot give lenny his pockedwatch. Heard the story, the give item is on lenny, still only possible to talk ore difuse.... Not give request ore item to lenny.... What is wrong here?

The Newsboy Cap is not exclusive to the story mission. This hat can be found on a Cornwall Kerosene & Tar guard in free roam. Approximately 1 in 4 will have the Special Hat. While there are guards that can be found in Smithfield's Saloon and in front of the depot in Strawberry regularly and at the Cornwall facility, the easiest way to find one driving an oil wagon or one of the blue-barrel wagons on the road (guards will have their repeaters pulled out). Yank the dude off the wagon with a lasso, and if he is wearing one, de-hat him if needed (pick him up after hogtying him so it falls off) and his hat will flash if it is special. There is also a guard that visits the stable in Valentine on the regular, he can be seen driving a blue-barrel wagon into town and will park it by the forge area there. He hangs out by the forge, and you can usually start a fight with him with antagonizes.

As good as this game is. The sheer luck involved in getting Bill's, Lennys and Seans requests to activate is beyond a joke.

I have never found it I have never ever ever layed my eyes on it beat the game 3 times on ps4 looked for the horse probably for a whole day real time and still never seen it or even tracks for it

These missable ones are in no kind of order and I don’t feel like restarting my game, go into the vid but poor execution. Showing night folk then the next hat is from chapter 2, i think you should redo this in chronological order if you want to help people

Why do people like this horse? I really don’t see the appeal, I feel like the Leopard blanket one looks way cooler, it reminds me of Taima, Charles’ horse so that’s probably why I like it.
