Oh shut up, no you're not expected to tip for everything including self service.
Yes you are 😂
Its out of control in North America
It really is 😂
Same thing happened to me the first time I went to Denmark (where they drive on the right). I naturally looked right and stepped out onto the road not realising a car was coming on my left. My Danish friend had to literally grab me by the collar and yank me back onto the pavement as the car beeped 😅 I learnt my lesson from then on.
Haha I can relate!!
Calling forint "Huff" is wild 💀 And unless it's a strange Americanism, Budapest is pronounced Boo-duh-pest in English. Not 'pesht'.
The correct pronunciation is pesht, which is why I said it! And I’m saying HUF just liked I’d say USD
How does the cash flex program work?
I’m not sure what that is! If you’re referring to the loan they give you when you first arrive to get set up, it was a max of 10,000 RMB when I was there and they evenly subtracted it out of the next 3 paychecks so it wasn’t a huge burden on the next check!! Very nice for getting set up :)
I’ve stayed there. And the breakfast & Coffee was……………THE WORST!
Interesting! I never pay for hostel breakfasts, I prefer to go in the city!! But thanks for sharing so others know :)
Trade unions struggled for a century to ensure better conditions for workers ..workers make wealth never forget that...we also have the NHS
Ya I’m not sure how anyone lives in London off these low wages - it’s crazy!!
Yes❤ thank you for the information🎉 we will come to see. I want to eat the steaks 😂 looks so good. Its funny im from Argentine Kansas
You’re welcome!! Omg how funny 😂 enjoy Buenos Aires and eat lots of steak - it’s incredible!!
Thansk for all the details and suggestions! great video!
You’re welcome! So glad you found it helpful :)
So amazing you never get bored of your dream job yoi are a happy American lady always 😊
Thanks!!
I went to the US on holiday as a little girl, when I got back to the UK the first thing we did was stop at our favourite bakers shop to get some rolls and I tipped the lady behind the counter 50p and she literally shouted me out the shop. She was actually offended by the tip.
Hahaha yes! I’ve noticed that too in so many countries around the world - it’s offensive to tip 😂
Its not just optional, its completely alien to us
Exactly! That’s the way it should be!!
Tipping for self service😂
It’s insane 😂 I’ve seen now some brides shopping for their wedding gowns and getting asked to tip when they’re purchasing!!! It’s so crazy
most restaurants In uk add 10% 15% service charge check the bill
"most" doing some real heavy lifting there
No they don't, they only automatically add it in tables of 8 or more. I've worked hospitality for 10 years.
@@jaketurner7321 this is based on my personal experience and only once have I not payed a service charge
Yeah I was gonna say I’ve only seen it in larger groups - it’s not the custom
I agree with the thread!! It’s not common
did you first time in slovakia? how you feel or problem city.
Yes it was my first time and I absolutely loved it!!!
Are you slowly getting a British accent?
Nope! American accent always :)
@@SheRunTheWorld aw man😭
genuine person ! than kyou
You’re very welcome!!
Tivoli Garden is not worth the entrance fee. It was very underwhelming.
Really good to know!! Thanks for sharing :)
Amazing ❤️

👍🌎🇬🇧
😊
thank you so much! This was really helpful :)
You’re welcome! So glad you found it helpful :)
This looks so much like England.
I could see that!
You are lucky to have lived in China,Vietnam and the Czech republic!
Yes!! It’s been a dream :)
I lived in London for a year when I was in 3rd grade. 1960-1961…. I love the monarchy… though I know that there are republicans there who wish for otherwise. But I believe that the monarchy helps to keep the UK bonded at times of crisis… the year there changed my life forever…. I want to return to just live and I mean live there!
Aw amazing, thanks for sharing!!
this was super helpful - thank you!
You’re welcome! So glad you found it helpful!!
People who live in Laguna! Lol
Or can drive there since most of us can’t afford to live there 😂
Yep. Used to drive there all the time.. now I’d have to take a plane
Warum macht's du kein orales und Natur wenig Sex 2ml
..? You didn’t think homes have large kitchens with all the mod cons……..my family all have beautiful and large modern kitchens in the UK
There are some exceptions, like homes in the UK that aren’t in big cities. But a general rule of thumb is that everything is a lot smaller in the UK compared to US and not as updated or modern! Definitely no dryers or dishwashers in most standard London apartments, which would never happen in the US!
ive been doing research all day and this is the best video with the most information! thank you
That makes me so happy! I’m so glad you found it helpful, enjoy Copenhagen :)
Trust me you only need an hour to see everything worth seeing in Brussels. So on your way to Bruges or somewhere more interesting stop in Brussels, see the Grand Place, and if you must, see the Mannekin Pis, then head out of Brussels. Also it is the only European city where I have had things thrown at me for walking while non-white.
Yeah that’s what I’ve heard that’s why I wasn’t upset to miss it and spend our time in Bruges and Ghent instead!!
Brillant amazing 👏 😊
Thank you!!
A fair summary. You have done well to have lived in so many different cities already. About the age of some things here, yes, there are some visible connections with the Roman Empire. Parts of the City Wall were built on Roman foundations, there are remains of a Mithraic temple and of course there are Roman and neolithic sites outside London. History is all around in many areas. For example this year I visited a small suburb called Waltham Abbey, which has very few tourists but has an historic church favoured by King Harold before 1066 and with Norman-era columns at its heart (so, dating from 11th or 12th century CE or AD). London is expensive but there are deals if you look around and it is not quite fair to compare cost of a travel pass for Madrid (a great city but much smaller than London). London is a very mixed city - even Chelsea has relatively unpleasant bits. So, understanding location for living is very important.
Thanks so much for sharing this and watching!! :)
